18.01.2022 Students showed great commitment by turning up to dance today when many had plans for a bit of 'trick or treating'. So we had a bit of Halloween Fun ready for them when they turned up. See photo.. Hope everyone enjoyed their day!!!

17.01.2022 This week, the first week of dance is ‘Bring a Friend’ week!!! All students are invited to bring along a friend to dance class this week. Your child’s friend is most welcome to come along and join in to class.

14.01.2022 Well done to our Senior Jazz and Contemporary groups who have just competed in the Beenleigh Eisteddfods. Our jazz group received 87 points with the Contemporary achieved 86.5. Well done to the girls and also fantastic to bring home a Highly Commended for their efforts. Congratulations !!!!!

13.01.2022 Imogen Barker and Polly Townsend danced beautifully at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in the Production of the Wizard of Oz. Congratulations girls... Such a wonderful achievement

12.01.2022 Good morning, I have come to the decision that it is probably best to cancel all morning classes today (24/2/18) due to the terrible weather. I hope to be able to resume classes in the afternoon classes if the weather eases. I will keep everyone informed as to whether afternoon classes will go ahead. So as for now all classes are cancelled up until 12.30 p.m. I do hope that this will not inconvenience anyone. Miss Kelly has agreed with the decision and has offered to reschedule the cancelled classes asap. I will inform everyone of rescheduled classes later this weekend. Thank you, Miss Anne.

09.01.2022 TAMBORINE MTN DANCE ACADEMY ONLINE CLASSES Hi all dance families, I hope you are all fine and staying safe and well during this difficult time. I know that the children will be missing their friends and activities with us all staying home and so this brings me to an update regarding what is happening with dance classes. WE ARE TAKING THE DANCE ACADEMY ONLINE. Obviously this is how most things will be for a while to come and to keep the children learning and active we are... going the same way. So to kick things off we will be doing an Easter holiday programme for the upcoming 2 weeks, then hopefully if all goes well we will continue this into term 2. To be a part of the online programme is really quite simple. We will be using the ‘Zoom’ programme, so everyone will need to download this. Don’t worry you can choose the FREE app. Also you will need to prepare the children with a little area in your home where they can dance and also have access to something that can be used as a Barre. Then finally the children will need a computer with a camera. I am doing up a timetable of classes that will run for the next two weeks (Easter holidays) and this will be emailed out to everyone. You simply need to let me know what classes you child or children would like to attend. I will then send you an invitation via email to attend your chosen classes. You simply will need to click on the link in the email shortly before the class commences and then this will take your child straight into the class. 02.01.2022 Congratulations to Jennifer Smith who was this year's winner of our Mega Easter Raffle. Obviously Jennifer slept very well cuddled up to her huge Easter Bunny!! Also congrats to all runner up winners, hoped you all enjoyed your many chocolates and hope all our Dance Academy had a truly blessed Easter season!!

02.01.2022 Congratulations Ruby!! We are thrilled to announce that our Full-time student, Ruby Cross (15) has been selected as a candidate for the Prix de Lausanne 2019!! ...Ruby has been training with ABDA since she was 10 years old, coming to us from Tamborine Mountain Dance Academy where she was beautifully trained in her early years by Anne Anderson. Her dedication, hard work, passion and talent are now all coming together and she is so deserving of this achievement. We are so excited to follow Ruby's exciting journey from here xx
