24.01.2022 Wow, 2015 is coming to a close so quickly. Time to breathe a little and refresh for the final busy pre-Christmas season. The house is available from Nov 2 until December 18, 2015. so get it soon if you want to grab this opportunity. As you begin to make plans for 2016 dont forget the importance of taking time out to reflect and refresh. Bookings for 2016 are now open.

23.01.2022 Even though we have a lot of tasks to get done and responsibilities to fulfill, it is right and good -- and necessary for joy -- to linger longer with the Lord than what we feel is right. We need the high view that prayer time gives us. I dont mean the formal prayers that keep our minds busy on God, but the quiet contemplation of Gods goodness or nearness or whatever we need to see in God at the moment. Its a seeing that comes from resting in the Lord, away from the trials and poisons and activities that well face the rest of the day. So hard to do this in the midst of busy schedules? Book a few days away at Tamborine Retreat House. You wont regret it and you will want to come back for more.

21.01.2022 Life feeling very hectic and busy again, needing time for couples/family to be all just be together without the distractions., need time to listen to God in beautiful surroundings, small groups want to have some extended time to really develop relationships with one another, ministry teams need to have more time in prayer and fellowship and together pursue Gods vision and call. Then perhaps it is time to book in before 2013 finishes. Plan ahead and you will be very grateful that you did.

A great place to go with your friends and family, your ministry team/ small group, even a honeymoon, hens/bucks party, girls/guys weekend away. Spread the word around amongst your friends. 11.01.2022 Want a nudge to know why you need to spend time away from the business of doing good work every day Read this reflection from Terry Modica of Goodnews Ministries Dear Friend,... A few days ago, as I sipped tea with the Lord while having my morning meditations on the balcony, I looked at the beauty of the natural surroundings and thought about how much its a reflection of the beauty of the Lord. Terrys Balcony From that second-floor view, its impossible to see the poison ivy that infects me almost very time I do yard work. I like doing yard work. But I dont like the rashes I get. Reflecting on this, I realized that the Lord was teaching me something again: Our prayer time is very, very important. It lifts us up, away from the poisons of evil that try to infect our decisions and that do infect our lives with hardships caused by the sins of others. From that high place, we can focus on the goodness of God. We need that time -- that quiet, peaceful, safe time alone with the Lord -- so that we can go back to work at the ground level where we can make a difference in the world. 10.01.2022 Well we are into February already. Students and teachers are back at school and holidays may be over, but now is the time to start planning your personal or family retreats for the year. Gerard and I have spent a few weeks and some hard work freshening up the house and garden, replacing the refrigerator and stove. It is now ready and waiting for bookings.
