24.01.2022 Saturday morning cross country Nordic pole walk down from Tamborine Mountain and back up. I try to start every weekend with one these walks to clear my mind after the busy week, spend time in nature and exercise my body without heavy impact on the joints. I maintain nasal breathing the whole way so only ask to join me if you don’t mind me not talking to you:) I m more than happy to converse after over a cup of coffee!



24.01.2022 Because of this people often develop problems in their neck muscles and upper back muscles. Compensate with appropriate strength training for the time you spend in this posture and do your best to limit your exposure to this modern danger.

21.01.2022 Suspension trainer workout today. The key skill you need to work on is maintaining stiffness and rigidity through your torso and only move at the hip joints. A lot of back issues develop from allowing the lower back to move around under stress. The hips and shoulders are mobile joints (well supposed to be) your lower back however needs to be stabilised as it doesn’t tolerate as much movement. Make sure you are competent at full body tension planks and have solid wrist mobility before including these in your workouts.

Having weight about your head makes this movement more challenging as the stability of it depends heavily on how effectively the various muscle chains in your body are able to can co-operate.
