10.01.2022 Time to Rethink India & Indonesia as an option. China has been a great trading partner with Australia. Australia is renowned for producing incredibly clean, gre...en, and high-quality beef and barley which is why they are so popular in China. We have a strong history in providing products from iron ore to baby formula and it is not a one-way street, every household in Australia has Chinese manufactured products. The Chinese Government has taken offense that Australia wants a transparent investigation into the origins of COVID-19 and a ban on wildlife wet markets, which was the epicenter of SARS and the most likely source of COVID-19. In Australia, there are a number of reviews into Australian Government and State responses to COVID-19, from Senate, inquires, to the NSW Government’s into the Ruby Princess and the Victorian Government’s into Cedar meats. Investigations are the best way to learn and improve responses into the future and this is what PM Morrison is seeking to do with the Chinese Government, nothing more and nothing less. We must all remember that the Chinese people are also the victims of COVID-19, as well as the 250,000 victims around the world, including 97 Australians. CHINA'S LOSS: INDIA'S GAIN - Time to engage Victorian Government with the Federal Government for the interest of the Victorian Farmers. "Global trade will take some time to return to positive rates of growth" CHINA THREATENING TO SLAP TARIFF ON AUSTRALIAN BARLEY IMPORTS. Simon Birmingham "Deeply Concerned" by Chinas Threat. Time to support Australian Farmers starts now. Our AIBO - Founder & National Chair said today, Australia India Business Organisation taking Initiative under pipeline, putting efforts two-way trade benefits between India and Australia is notable here. The future is sharing the barter system works for both natural resources country's economic recovery in this COVID 19 Pandemic. There is going to be a lot of rethinking on what and how we have been doing and what will be done in the future to secure both health and economy. For now, it’s a fact that we see a slump in global trade. But at the same time, it is very important for us to note how cooperation has become very, very significant in these times. Many countries have implemented bans on exports of medicines, PPEs, etc. It is important for us to not do that and be as cooperative as possible in terms of what is required. Before Tariff Gun with the USA, now Australia turn by Chinas threat. Time to find other Markets. On my Question about the Indian tariff on pulses hurting Australian exporters, he said, the issue was covered during his India visit and will again be raised soon. He also expressed his happiness at the upcoming Vibrant Tamilnadu and World Food Expo events in Tamil Nadu - South India. I have been taking constant approach Victorian State Government and Federal Government to support our Australian farmers.
