19.01.2022 We just finished our latest Bird Watching app. Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details iPhone: https://itunes.apple.com//a/aussie-bird-count/id917024019

15.01.2022 In May 2013, James and myself (Tamara) quit our jobs and started our own company Planticle. Five months later in October 2013 we sold EVERYTHING (the home, the new car, all furniture, TV, toys, clothes and stuff) except that which could fit into our second hand Ford Station wagon. Now we and our 3 year old daughter Nyah are travelling around Australia house-sitting - indefinitely. We are on our eighth house-sit and are booked up until 26th January 2015. We do short house-sit...s from one week to long house-sits (preferred) of 4 months up to 2 years+. We have experience doing farm-sits where minimal farm work is required (moving livestock, feeding, topping up water troughs, horse care/working/riding, slashing, mowing etc.) Please call, email, sms or FB private message me See more

14.01.2022 House-sit #8 DUBBO, NSW 14/10/14 - 12/12/14 Currently farmsitting a 2,800 acre cattle property 20 mins out of Dubbo. Two cats, one dog, one horse, two ponies, two budgies and one parrot..........

14.01.2022 House-sit #7 TWEED HEADS, NSW 12/09/14 - 25/09/14 Beautiful house on the Tweed River with easy access to some of the best cycle/walk shared paths going up to the Gold Coast. We looked after Georgie the Labradoodle, Maya the Staffy, Orlando and Deakin the two cats. Maya was so good with Nyah, she loved tummy rubs and could still run 7kms at her old age of 91 dog years. Thanks so much to Jordana for a wonderful stay

12.01.2022 House-sit #5 WEST BALLINA, NSW 14/02/14 - 03/09/14 Almost 7 months i this house-sit in beautiful Ballina, right on the Richmond River. The morning sunrise views over the tidal river were priceless. A huge thank you to Frank & Ruth for having us look after their wonderful home. We looked after a canary, a budgie named Pete, an extensive tropical garden and an in-ground salt-chlorinated pool. Hand watering hundreds of pots was a big effort during the summer heat, but as soon a...s the cooler weather arrived it eased off nicely. A bit of mowing, weeding, whipper snippering, weed spraying and lawn edging. Kayaking on the river was awesome and the shared walk/cycle path from the Burns Point Ferry all the way around town/to Lennox Head was a huge highlight, but we would have to say that the Ballina Bible Centre (and the Wollongbar Christian Church ) was the best thing about Ballina - the care, love, warmth, encouragement, outreach and biblical teaching. 11.01.2022 House-sit #1 PARA HILLS, SA 16/11/2013 - 29/11/2013 Our very first house-sit in Para Hills was 3 weeks long, looking after Larry the Labrador, Bruce the cat, Ransom the horse and three chooks. We had the privilege of eating fresh eggs everyday and I got to ride Magda's beautiful horse Ransom

10.01.2022 House-sit #3 ELIZABETH DOWNS, SA 19/12/13 - 10/01/14 Looked after two cats named Yeltsin and Clara for three weeks over Christmas. Clara was a sweet friendly girl though a little shy, but Nyah still managed to pick her up and cuddle her

05.01.2022 House-sit #4 FLAGSTAFF HILL, SA 10/01/14 - 20/01/14 We had a great time with two dogs Molly (cattle dog cross) & Buddy (Staffy) and one cat called Digger. The owners used the best ever cat litter which didn't need changing while we were there and kept odours at bay (the use of good cat litter is always highly appreciated). We were located not far from a very nice reserve and walking trail. Thank you Sorina & Robert for our stay in your wonderful home

03.01.2022 House-sit #2 MOOROOK, SA 06/12/2013 - 16/12/2013 Ten days in the beautiful Riverland looking after two Cavalier King Charles dogs Mindy and Bella. Bella was old, a little anxious and prone to making scared growls, but after a few days of getting used to us, she was loving attention from everyone. The weather was pretty hot so a bit of sprinkler watering was needed, other than that it was a pretty low maintenance house-sit. The Christmas lights display was the envy of the street and Nyah's entertainment each night. Thanks John & Kathy for a lovely stay in a beautiful home

01.01.2022 House-sit #6 LENNOX HEAD, NSW 03/09/14 - 12/09/14 Thank you Celia for ten amazing days in a little beach-side village paradise. We looked after Smudge the content and long-suffering cat whom Nyah fell in love with. The house was a beautifully done up 3-bedroom cottage. James and I fell in love with the house and the location. Every morning and evening Nyah went outside and played with all the neighbourhood children in the streets, it was so wonderful to hear them laughing and playing. Children 3 years old to 15, all getting along so well and even the big boys looking after the little ones. Another added bonus was that we were two doors up from our good friends from our church in Ballina
