25.01.2022 Yesterday I turned 35.... yup. And I feel so freakin blessed to call the people in the next photo my tribe. My ride or dies. Some of them family by blood. Some of them family by choice. 25.01.2022 ! Ok, so I know I’m not the only one who feels like their nails either don’t grow, or they keep breaking right? My nails do tend to grow fairly quickly but they usually split and break and I have to cut the rest short to match my little stumpy broken nails . Check out my nails now! 22.01.2022 Self Care This is something I think we could all improve on. Am I right? I've been feeling a bit flat the past few days, anyone else with me? So following my plan to practice more self care rituals I took some ME time. My man and I have been in our house since May 2019 and we hadn't even used the bath! WHAT??? I "have been meaning to" for months and months. And finally did it. And my lord it was amazing.... I made sure I had all the essentials: bath soak, face masks, candle, calm music, essential oil and something to drink of course. I totally switched off. Apart from taking a couple of snaps of course. It was heavenly. So heavenly I was actually in there for an HOUR. It was absolutely just what I needed. And is definitely going to be a weekly ritual from now on. I would love to hear your self care rituals. If you have any. Or ones you would like to do and "have been meaning to". Then I want you to go ahead and make it happen. You can't pour from an empty cup. So make sure your cup if full so you can then go and fill others'. 06.01.2022 , .... Flashback to my first trip to America in 2016. This was a HUGE deal for me. I have been flying around our amazing country (Australia) since I was young. Like, when the flight attendants used to give you special treatment, pin the little tag on you that let people know you were travelling unaccompanied, and those delicious little packets of peanuts were still ar...ound. But I was always a nervous flyer. And still am to this day. So for me to commit to jumping on a plane for 13 hours straight, big deal. International travel was always a big fear of mine as I was already an anxious flyer so the thought of having a panic attack mid flight with no way out scared the hell out of me. >> Que Anxiety << Yep, good old Anxiety is something I have suffered from for years. 04.01.2022 Just over here still obsessing over this matte pink lip..... I don't normally wear a super pink lip but this one is just gorgeous.... My mum often wonders how I turned out so "girly". Cos to be honest I wasn't always a super girly girl. I spent a lot of my high school years wearing t-shirts and shorts, baggy pants and basket ball singlets. Wait what?
