With 2020 ...dealing up so many adversities, this might just be the best way to get back on track, or maybe a sort of track. The route for this year is fantastic, challenging in places, and with a couple of great spots for our two campsites and some spectacular scenery along the way. A comprehensive Covid-19 Safety Plan is in place for the safety of entrants and their families and a one or two night option as well. The weekend of April 17-19 will be our Tamworth to the Tops and the...n, from August 6th-22nd, an epic Drover’s Run Outback Adventure when we meet in #Menindee NSW and travel through the back tracks of #SouthAustralia, the #NorthernTerritory, #Queensland and back in to #NSW, travelling over 5,500kms and seeing some of the very best of #OutbackAustralia. Iconic places such as #CooberPedy, #MtDare, #Uluru, #KingsCanyon, #AliceSprings, #Winton, and much, much more. The #DroversRun is a major fundraiser for the #Westpac #rescuehelicopter Service and is very affordable at just $200 per vehicle registration and fees of around $600 per person TBC. 02.01.2022 What a fantastic three days on our annual #TamworthtotheTops. A great group of adults and kids, Covid safe and very successful. #Nundle, #Crawney, #Belltrees, #...Rouchel, #LostockDamCaravanPark, #Dungog, #UpperAvon, #Bretti, #CundleFlatFarm, #Nowendoc, #home. A really brief outline of where we went but so much more than that. Huge thanks to Mark and Merri at #LostockDamCaravanPark and even huger thanks to our great friends Ollie and Kristina at the magnificent #CundleFlatFarm. The camp area is brilliant, fantastic grass cover, pristine river and numerous sightings of platypii this morning. Back home today through Mt George and #Nowendoc. Twenty four vehicles took part, 56 incredible generous people split in to three groups of less than 20, and around $7000 raised for the #rescuehelicopter. A quick auction last night saw over $2600 in sales and donations on top of $200 from the compulsory fine session. Thank you to everyone who took part, to those who looked after us, to our seven brilliant first-timers, and Doug and Macka for the great work on the mapping.
