25.01.2022 apparently it’s birthday week. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEL!! Love your work, thanks for turning up everyday. We’d be lost without you!!

24.01.2022 ** Book in now for pre Christmas work** With Christmas only a fortnight away, it’s time to get your car ready for the end of year workout it’s about to get. This year we will be keeping Monday 23rd and Tuesday the 24th available for stranded travelling motorist and will be closed on Friday 27th, so that only leaves next week to get your car ready for Christmas. Give Mel a call on 67621255 to make a booking.

24.01.2022 Happy Birthday to this character. Hayden joined the team 4 months ago and has proven that he’s not one for hair styles and his singing voice is awful but he is fantastic when it comes to cars and their owners. Have a great day and we look forward to sharing many more cakes with you

23.01.2022 It was a busy night at work and a busy night on the phone. While getting a family and their car towed home to Gunnedah my phone starts running hot with messages informing me of a Facebook post from one of our customers that was getting a bit of commentary. I’m not a part of such groups as for the short time I was I felt there are rarely a positive post about anything. I’ll try and keep this brief but want to address a few things that might help to ease the minds of the autho...rs of the 120 odd comments to the post. Firstly, I believe the intent of the post was to show a typical service price for a basic maintenance service and was a response to the occasional question how much should I pay for a service? That’s fine, I’m ok with that as we aim to give great service at a fair price so we have nothing to hide. I also want to point out that there are a number of Auto repairers in the area that do a great job of looking after their customers and vehicles. For the same reasons we have a bunch of pubs, umpteen coffee shops and multiple Churches in town, we have enough GOOD repairers in town that most people are able to find one that suits their particular taste. We do our best to look after our customers and most of the time we seem to get it right. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly if that’s on us we do our best to own it, learn and improve in the future. On very rare occasions, customers expectations are simply impossible to meet but this is rare. We currently have an amazing team. Not every chair in the staff room is full but the ones that are, are being warmed by someone that is excellent in their field and as a result we currently have the longest booked out period we have experience since we first opened the doors. So in summary, if you like our service, book in early and we will do our best for you. If you enjoy the service one of our fellow repairers offer, that is awesome! If you enjoy commenting on social media to hurt the fealings of others, have an early night and a good breakfast and try to have a better day tomorrow See more

22.01.2022 For us it feels like this cool character has been part of the TCD family forever due to the silky smooth way she has slotted into the clan but this is still a fresh face for a lot of our customers. Welcome Mel! Love your work!! Talk to Mel to book your service or repair in, she’s ready to take your call!

21.01.2022 Those funsters in the towing division have a after hours job available. Can combine that with our full time mechanic position for a good chapter in your career!

21.01.2022 About a month ago we welcomed Anthony to the team as our primary tow truck driver and we have hardly seen him since In the last 10 days he has captured some great photos from his travels including Grafton, Casino, Callala Bay south coast, Sydney, Nelson Bay and a bunch of places in between. Love your work Anthony and thanks for adding such enthusiasm to the team!

20.01.2022 Another great job from McKnight signs. Thank you. We know who owns the white BuzzBox now

17.01.2022 Ok, well I think we have come to the point of admitting that our demand is higher than our capacity and need another technician to help us catch up. We have a great team here and have not been keen to upset the apple cart but the cars are coming in faster than we can get them out. So if you are trade qualified, well presented and can go a full sentence without cursing, have we got the job for you! Extra brownie points (and overtime) if you have an MR truck licence and are prepared to use it. Send us a message or drop a resume’ into the shop. Clean workshop, your own bay (most of the time) and above award wages to the right person.

16.01.2022 How fantastic is Friday and especially when we have a great customer bearing this type of gift. Mmmmmm Thank you Sir!

12.01.2022 A set of keys has been brought into Tamworth Car Doctors. They have a recent edition of the Tamworth Car Doctors keyring on them suggesting the owner has visited us within the last few months. They were apparently found in Willis St and likely belong to an early model Mitsubishi. If these are yours, or you know who they may belong to, please let us know.

10.01.2022 We loved the side livery so much we couldn’t stop at that! You can now see us coming and watch us leave with the new front and rear signage. McKnights look after all our signage and couldn’t be easier to deal with. Contact them via phone or email to to get wrapped in goodness!

09.01.2022 A special thank you to Anthony from your company who took our car and caravan from Tamworth to Urunga . Anthony was on time, personable, drove professionally an...d extremely diligent. Having spent 30 odd years in hospitality, his attitude to the task on hand was nothing short of exemplary . A fine young man. Thank you again Paul and Wendy Greenfield FB: The Wandering Greenies.

05.01.2022 Good morning, it’s a new day and we are thankful to be able to open the doors to keep our customers mobile. Due to the recent events we are taking a few steps try to keep our staff and wider community safe as we attempt to slow the spread of this wretched virus. We regret the inconvenience this may create. 1. We will be closing our waiting room to customers. Please provide as much detail when booking in jobs over the phone to limit face to face contact with reception staff. ...2. We will not be providing customer drop offs. Please have a friend or family member that you are in regular contact with pick you up. Like everyone else, this may change as new information is presented to us. We look forward to when we can return to full service and acknowledge the inconvenience but are also looking to follow direction from health advisors and our state and federal leaders. Take care of each other. This is a tiny spec in the eternal timeline and we can create good from a less than perfect situation. See more

05.01.2022 A little bit chaotic here this afternoon with the threat of hail we downed tools to cram all the cars in. Although the hail didn’t eventuate, 17 cars were out of the crazy wind, dust and lightning storm

05.01.2022 HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANTHONY!! have a great day and thanks for all your awesome work!!

03.01.2022 With heavy fines and demerit points it’s good to clarify the dos and don’ts of using your phone while driving.

02.01.2022 If your bike's just died or you've gone for a slide, call the guys that take pride in how they move your ride

02.01.2022 In these uncertain times, if you need help or need to give help, rest assured the NRMA is here to keep you moving, just as we have been for 100 years. Right now..., it's vital that every Australian is 100% committed to social distancing. While most travel must stop for a while, life goes on: - Healthcare and essential workers must drive to work safely - Our Members need to reach essential services safely - Truck drivers and couriers need to keep supplies stocked - Many essential services must keep helping in the community We can't stop moving but we need to quickly change the way we move. Whether you are at home or on the front-line, we all share one united purpose: to keep the community safe. So please don’t be offended when we keep that 1.5m distance on the roadside or ask more questions than usual over the phone. Keeping each other safe is all that matters and that’s what the NRMA was born to do: mynr.ma/covid

02.01.2022 Happy Easter to all! Enjoy the time and please, please, please make wise decisions on the road.
