25.01.2022 Tamworth Respiratory Clinic is delighted to see the number of people, including the influx of school age children, getting tested and accessing our Clinic. We are seeing record numbers of people seeking testing which is a positive sign to the community’s effort to help stop the spread. Our Medical Director, Dr Jaffly Chen and his team have worked tirelessly to ensure the people of Tamworth and surrounding areas have access to COVID testing and a big thank you to them. We ha...ve extended our hours from 6 days to 7 days per week to ensure the community has increased access to our Respiratory Clinic 7 days per week. We encourage all people with any sign of symptoms to be tested and attend a COVID testing clinic which has a qualified doctor, nurse and pathology collection service on site. At this stage, funding of TRC and all such clinics past 31 October is uncertain. ... 17.01.2022 The Team at Tamworth Respiratory Clinic would like to take this opportunity to apologise to those patients who were tested on Wednesday 2 September 2020 and subsequently received a notification to see their doctor for their results rather than a simple positive or negative result message. Tamworth Respiratory Clinic and our pathology provider experienced a temporary message error due to IT issues which have now been rectified. We take pride in offering a same day testing s...ervice by appointment with a fast turnaround in advising patients of their test results (usually within 24 hours). Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to continuing to provide a professional, fast COVID-19 testing service to the Tamworth and surrounding communities.
