22.01.2022 The Rotary crew are getting close to finishing the Flourish Project. Artificial Turf is down (thanks to Kelvin Collyer from Carpet Court in Tamworth) and Richard Chaffey displayed finishing putting up the fence. Only a few pavers left to lay and we are finished.

21.01.2022 Bounce Back started again this evening at the Dome in Tamworth. For those not aware of the Bounce Back program please follow link to their Facebook page below https://m.facebook.com/bouncebacktamworth... Our Rotary Club Tamworth West members were set up this evening to serve the hungry participants. COVID has created a few more challenges and requirements but thankfully we are still able to assist this great program this year.

14.01.2022 Work progressed this week on our Flourish Australia Project on Marius St. Professional Bricklayers in working on the back step area and RCTW Members President Mal MacPherson, Gavin Hombsch and Ron Carr working on the Paving. Getting closer to completion.

13.01.2022 Little Athletics held a Region 1 Qualifying Meet in Tamworth on the weekend and Rotary Club of Tamworth West undertook the catering at the track to help out over the weekend. Thanks to all those members who helped out on the two days. The weather was far more amicable this year. Some may cast their mind back to the previous year when it bucketed down rain.

02.01.2022 On the weekend our Flourish Project came to fruition with the BBQ and outdoor activity area Landscaping Project now finalised. Flourish Australia joined with the Rotary Club of Tamworth West to create a community project to build an outdoor activity centre for people with mental health issues. The area is now ready for use and we hope that the Flourish participants get many years of use and enjoyment out of this area. Thanks to all of our members who participated in the completion of this project.

01.01.2022 Work progressing again this morning at Flourish. Filling the besa wall with concrete packing. Thanks to Ron Carr, bringing the cement mixer and Jim Booth supervising we had the task completed in a couple of hours. Not much to do now. Ag drain and pavers to go in next week, the back fence and gate to install and the fake grass carpeting going in this week. Should be finished in time for Christmas.
