25.01.2022 We’re excited to have our very first motion included in the upcoming CWA State Conference! Our motion is that the policy of the CWA be to advocate for the wide-scale availability of an antenatal-postpartum care model and the continuity of care. Something we’re extremely passionate about. Thanks to Northern Daily Leader for covering the story for us.

24.01.2022 While we'll be commemorating Anzac Day a little differently this year, we can still keep the Anzac spirit alive and honour our veterans and service members from the safety of our own homes. 22.01.2022 LEST WE FORGET Anzac Day is a special day for the Country Women's Association (CWA) of NSW. Like all Australians we remember those that have fallen. We also recognise the traditions and customs of Anzac Day, including the classic Anzac Biscuit. ... Recently, Kootingal Branch member and Wanthella Group Secretary, Pam Wright shared her secrets to making the perfect biscuit with ABC New England North West. Pam is a state CWA cookery judge and has been a "cookery" mentor for members of the Tamworth Evening Branch. Every year Pam joins us for our branch cookery day to judge our entries and to provide us with tips on baking, presentation and the best baking tools to use. Under Pam's tutelage, some of our members have gone from kitchen disasters to baking a state competition level!

20.01.2022 IN THE NEWS | Yesterday we announced our chosen fundraising partner for 2020, the local Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is so well aligned to the values of our branch and the values of the Country Women's Association (CWA) of NSW as a whole. And with 45 children as part of our branch, we felt it was the perfect partnership. Thanks to The Northern Daily Leader, PRIME7 News North West, NBN Television and 88.9fm Tamworth Radio for all your support.
