25.01.2022 Heh Tamworth, if you've ever wondered about our local mountain bike trails and community this is an event for you. We have a Come'n'Try day event as part of our 10th birthday celebrations on the 22 Nov. It is a one hour "race" on our lower "green" (i.e. beginner) trails. Your insurance is covered by AusCycling, all you have to do is turn up with your bicycle, helmet and an open mind. Please message us if you have any questions. Don’t forget to register on-line at https://online.mtba.org.au/ERegister.aspx?E=8490 You can register any spectators via your rego. Any additional spectators can register on the COVID-19 QR code at plate pick up. ... If you registered for an entire series you just need to let the race plate pick up volunteers know you are at today’s event. 23.01.2022 TWILIGHT SERIES 2020 RACE 2 Sooooo ..... Lesson time. (and we couldn't resist the opportunity to pull out an oldie but a goodie circa EVO CITY Series Wagga wash out). This is what happens to body and bike (let alone the trails) when ones ambition to race butts heads with the Weather Gods! For those of you new to Twilight Racing you may be unaware of TAMMTB's reputation for breaking the drought EVERY Wed afternoon at about 6:14 pm. And we are pretty damn good at it. You're... welcome Tamworth. You may also be unaware of our Wet Weather Plan. If we are unable to race on a Wed night due to the weather we automatically move to a Thursday night program. If we are unable to race on a Thursday night due to the weather we concede to the Weather Gods and try again the following Wed. Registration for Race 2 can be found at https://online.mtba.org.au/ERegister.aspx?E=8490 Due to the technical issues registering spectators last week we have changed the rego system so you can attach spectators to your race rego plus we have the COVID QR code that can be scanned on entry. 23.01.2022 Tha rains are coming!!! Fantastic news for the town, but it does mean that we will not be able to run our 10th Birthday Race this coming Sunday. We have postponed until Sunday November 22, hope to see you all then!!!!

22.01.2022 What better way to celebrate turning 10 than have a 3 hour spin around our awesome trails. Thanks also to our 12 Come'N'Try riders who bravely faced our 35 degree race day conditions to dabble with one of the best sports like ...ever!

The good news is that we will get to party and race on the 22nd November AND you've now got an extra 4 weeks for your fitness to crawl out from winter hibernation. This loop rolls in and out of the creek bed, traverses the lower hillside and is designed to make you smile and keep the sting factor low. 01.01.2022 TAMWORTH MOUNTAIN BIKERS - WHAT IS ON YOUR WISH LIST??? Yes we truly want to know what you think about Tamworth Mountain Bike Park and the future of mountain biking in our region. We want your input to help guide us on our next strategic 5 year development plan and invite you to come along this weekend and share your ideas on how we can improve this amazing community resource. What: Review of our TAMMTB 5 year plan... When: Sunday 29th November 8 am Where: Central Picnic Area, Tamworth Mountain Bike Park, Forest Rd, Tamworth Why: We want to know what you think about TAMMTB Park. What infrastructures would improve our park? Are there trails that you think need a mega makeover? Are there features you feel are missing from our "toolkit" of mtb skills? Do you have a great idea to make use of an existing natural feature in the park? Do we need to enhance the facilities in the central picnic area? What could we be doing better? Do you want mtb skills courses? We invite, in fact require, input from all types of riders so we can ensure the park is a facility for all to enjoy from parents of kids on balance bikes, to adults taking up bike riding for the first time, to athletes wanting to take their skills to a competitive level.
