14.01.2022 As the run directors of our first cancelled parkrun it is a very sad day but it is better to be cautious and keep our parkrun family safe. So enjoy your social distancing and Ingrid and I will direct you at our next parkrun when it is able to be held. Stay safe.

03.01.2022 This from parkrun HQ COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update: 26 May 2020 We can now confirm that parkrun events across the world will be suspended until the end of June.... Please note that this represents a minimum time-frame for all parkrun countries and we expect most, if not all, closures to be in place for longer. Despite this announcement of extended closure, our view of the future is increasingly optimistic as the situation continues to change rapidly and dynamically across the world. There is now a definite and positive move towards relaxation of restrictions, and every week we get closer to the point where parkrun events will return to their communities. As lockdown restrictions start to lift across some territories in which we operate, we’d like to thank everyone for not going to their parkrun venues, at parkrun time. Importantly, please do not organise group gatherings of any sort at your parkrun locations until such time as parkrun events have officially returned in your region. This is critical in order to preserve the excellent relationships we have with local communities and stakeholders, as well as to ensure the safety of both parkrunners and other users of the space. We continue to be cautious and thoughtful about parkrun’s return and we will, at all times, consider region-specific national and international government and public health guidance. Thanks for your continued parkrun passion. We are getting through this, together, Tom Williams Chief Operating Officer parkrun Global

03.01.2022 Hi everyone. Please see this advice from parkrun Australia that all parties events are cancelled until the end of March

03.01.2022 Many thanks to our photographer, Garry Kable for the wonderful photos and thank you to Todd Heffernan for the use of his camera.

02.01.2022 Remember when we would laugh and joke just after our Saturday morning parkrun? Just a friendly reminder when out and about to continue to keep a safe distance from people other than those you live with. Try not to use the parkrun path at the regular parkrun time.... Hope to see you all on a Saturday morning when we’re given the parkrun all clear.

01.01.2022 Hi parkrunners, results have just been proccessed. Photos will be uploaded soon. We had a tiny cardigan left behind and if you’d like to pick it up, send us a message or comment below. Otherwise we’ll bring it to the next parkrun.
