Teeball will be on the Webb diamond (closest to clubhouse) Modball will be on Porter diamond (underneath the train tracks) We will be doing regos again under the gazebo in front of Webb diamond. ... If you need to bring cash please try and have the right money. We accept active kids vouchers too. Tball- Silver $45 Gold $95 Modball- Silver $65 Gold $110 We will have glove + ball packs for $40 Looking forward to seeing all the kids play again!

Due to COVID we are unable to have our presentation as we had planned. We will hand out certificates and trophies to last years coaches on our come and try days. Bring on 2020 / 2021 season

A few notes as We have had to make some changes to allocate time for cleaning etc Teeball - Coaches - please meet at the clubhouse at 8am to collect gear and have a quick chat. ... Players - Please be there at Webb diamond by at least 8:15am for a 8:30am start. Modball - please be at Porter diamond by at least 9:45am for a 10am start. Teams have been sorted! If you don’t know your team please come see us in the TSA shirts. Signing in - Please remember to scan and sign in upon arrival. QR codes will be behind home plate on both WEBB and PORTER diamonds. Shirts for Teeball / Gold membership Uniforms - Unfortunately they will be handed out next week.

09.01.2022 As most of you are aware, each year during the Country Music Festival, we assist TRC by manning the riverside camping grounds. This is normally our fund-raiser for the year. With the CMF not going ahead in 2021 we have been looking at different kinds of fund-raisers. TSA are excited to announce we are holding a Jolly Soles fund-raiser. Jolly Soles socks are bright and fun. Each box contains a variety of styles and sizes from XS for kids to XL for adults. (There is a sizin...g chart in each box). Socks are $8 per pair or 3 for $20. Please get behind this fund-raiser as money raised will go towards the cost of hiring our fields. This in turn helps keep our playing fees down. Sock boxes will be handed out to senior teams this weekend. And will be available to junior teams next weekend. Watch this space as we are planning to hold a crazy sock round later in the year.

Addie celebrates being cancer free with softball legends By Peta McEachern IT'S not every day the Western Downs town of Tara has Australian sporting royalty visit, it takes something or someone special - and Addie Clay's cancer free celebration (#fighlikeaddie shirt party) was just the ticket. Former Australian softball player and four-time Olympian medallist Melanie Roche said she got to know Addie through the Play for a Cure Foundation - a non-for-profit charity which raises funds towards cancer research. "Stacey and I are ambassadors of Play for a Cure... so we've gotten to know Addie quite well and finding out about this beautiful celebration for her being cancer, we had to come," Ms Roche said. "She's been through such a rough run and she's just a fantastic kid, so spirited. "It's something we love doing and supporting, and not just being a part of Play for a Cure Foundation, it's also a big part of the softball community." Captain of the Australian women's national softball team and two-time Olympian medallist Stacey Porter was meant to compete in the Japan Olympics, although with COVID-19 travel restrictions getting in the way, the sporting legend was given the opportunity to head west to Tara in support of Addie. "We thought it would be great to come out and meet all these guys," Ms Porter said. "It's so fantastic that Addie has beaten cancer, so we thought we'd come out to support her, and check out Tara which is a cute little town. "We'll have to come back I think, we're having too much fun." Addie's former softball coach, and the founder of Play for a Cure Leigh Martyn has been a long supporter of Addie, being her first softball coach. "I think it's important to come out here today because it's a remote community, and for softball especially, the chance to bring out my friends (Stacey and Melanie) was great, we were at Addie's softball trials yesterday and all the kids were ecstatic to have legends there," she said. "It's nice to be here and to support the family and maybe even help grow the game of softball." The #fightlikeaddie shirts, Ms Martyn said were made by Arfting & Crafting, and raised $1,200 towards supporting Addie's family.
