18.01.2022 It was the rhino and little bird on the Tandem Design website that caught the eye of Hinalei Johnston, marketing and communications manager for the Faculty of Veterinary Science (FVS) at Melbourne University. Tandem MD, Lesley OByrne said the call from Hinalei was a complete surprise - but given our love for animals, we were delighted to be invited to work with the faculty on their marketing material. FVS educates veterinary students and graduates as well as conducting gro...und breaking research. It has a world class veterinary hospital practicing primary and preventative care, referring case to specialists and dealing with emergency and critical care. There is also an Equine Centre. International appeal The faculty course is internationally accredited and therefore needs to appeal to an overseas market. While it was the first veterinary school it Australia, the faculty wanted to be as modern and relating to the new world. With Tandems past experience with Melbourne University, we were familiar with the branding standings and noticed a great deal of inconsistency across the material previously produced for FVS, said Lesley. Communicating excellence It was time for a fresh look that would be clean, crisp and clearly identified the brand. Above all, quality, expertise and excellence had to come through. Tandem worked with FVS to create a unified look and feel across several publications creating a template for a focused professional style.
