22.01.2022 GIRLS DESERVE DIGNITY Did you know that last year during a global pandemic we were still able to reach hundreds of Kenya school girls through our Girls Deserve Dignity program. The challenges we faced in ensuring it was covid safe only made us more determined as we heard the stories of the girls in need. ... A huge thank you to all our sponsors and partners, every donation big or small. It’s this that keeps our not for profit going as we continue to focus on reaching those in the most remote parts of Kenya. @thedigitalpicnic @bandicutedesigns
19.01.2022 It is easy to take feminine hygiene for granted when products are relatively inexpensive and accessible. But in developing countries, feminine hygiene products are not only expensive, but typically completely unobtainable for most women. Without available feminine supplies, girls miss school, miss work and go without income, and are homebound for days, every single month. Days for Girls, an international respected non-profit organisation, helps women and girls discover their potential and self-value by ensuring quality sustainable feminine hygiene, and Tandum is working together on a partnership campaign to make change for young girls in regional Kenya.

02.01.2022 There are 42 tribes in Kenya with different languages and cultures that all merge to become the unique mix of Kenyan culture. It’s so important working in any community that you take the time to understand what’s important to them. ... Whenever we start a project we call community meetings with the women’s groups, leaders, school teachers and elders to ensure we provide the support they need and really listen to how we can work together to pave a path that best serves their community.

It provides these girls confidence through education, Health education ... Sex education Period education Human rights education We are so proud of each and every one of the girls in our programs these past few months.
