01.01.2022 On Monday 16th November Firefighter Andrew and Firefighter Doug came out to visit the P/1/2 class. Firefighter Andrew told the P/1/2 students all about fire safety while Firefighter Doug showed us his fire suit and demonstrated fire safety behaviours like ‘Stop, Drop and Roll’ and ‘Get Down Low and Go, Go, Go!’ On Monday 23rd November the P/1/2 students travelled in Mr Harlow’s bus to the new Yarraman Fire Station. At the fire station we met with Firefighter Colin and Firefighter Doug. While the students were there they got to look through the fire truck, use the hose and go through the Yarraman Police wagon. The students had lots of questions and stories to tell. Everyone had a great time!
