24.01.2022 Please let me know either here or on pm if you come across anything. Advise police. Take photos and location before removing. Thank you. Take care with this everyone - although we shouldn’t have to.

23.01.2022 Notice of event. Mountain bike riders may like to avoid. Starting time is now 8.30am.

22.01.2022 In order to help stop the spread of COVID-19 the government is advising people to stay home and not congregate or undertake any unnecessary travel. Clarence Council has closed BBQs, skateparks, community halls, Clarence mountain bike park and fenced play parks to help people minimise their exposure to Covid-19. All other parks and outdoor exercise areas are open (including Tangara Trail) but people should be staying at home as much as possible and limiting travel away from home.

20.01.2022 Monday 25th November 2019 "Scoot Boots" office 4/205 Kennedy Drive Cambridge ... Tangara Recreational Trails Inc. invites you to join us for a general meeting at 7.00 pm. This will be followed by our AGM at approximately 8.00pm. Our committee liaises with Clarence City Council and Parks and Wildlife Service to provide safety, maintenance, continuity and extension of our wonderful trails. With a total length of approximately 300 kms in 2019 we have a very unique asset in Clarence. An rsvp would be appreciated. Thank you.

20.01.2022 A gravel track has recently been constructed at Rosehill Drive track (off Delphis Drive, Sandford). This track is quite steep and can get muddy. Please refrain from riding horses on this newly formed track at least until it has settled and hardened which can take a couple of months. There is enough width on this section of trail to continue riding on the natural surface. Thank you.

18.01.2022 Our wonderful yards at Acton Court hub have had some rails set on fire and a water trough stolen. Council has been notified.

18.01.2022 The tree that was blocking the trail from Nowra Road to Axiom Way has now been removed.

17.01.2022 When you don't have a horse, or can't go outside to ride your horse.

16.01.2022 A group is trying to organise some small, informal southern rides and fun days. Everyone welcome.

13.01.2022 I noticed flowers for Frances when I went past yesterday. Frances lived opposite her entrance and was often out walking her kelpie. A few years have passed, I'm sure they will always be wandering the trails. If her family or friends see this maybe they could give the name of the kelpie.

13.01.2022 Today the brigade will be conducting a Hazard Reduction Burn at Clifton Riding Club off Rifle Range Road for approx 5hrs. There should be no concern to the public as it will be controlled. However, if there is any smoke or fire that is causing you concern, please dial 000.

10.01.2022 Our fire crew will be conducting heap burns in the Mortimer Bay Reserve area from 8am tomorrow, Wednesday 29 April.

06.01.2022 Our fire crew will be conducting heap burns in the Mortimer Bay Reserve area today, Tuesday 21 April 2020.

05.01.2022 We are asking horse riders to not ride on NEWLY LAID gravel tracks and use the natural surface tracks alongside. When newly laid it takes a couple of months to properly dry out and harden, and is easily damaged if a horse is ridden on it during that settling time. The Tangara Trail at Seven Mile Beach has been extended to Grueber Ave, adding an extra 2.2km of trail to the network! A gravel track has been constructed along the edge of the sandy trail by Llanherne golf cour...se area. Council’s work crew have also been laying a gravel track along the edge of the Highway Track between Alliance Drive and Cambridge Road interchange, which is impassable for people walking or cycling in winter. Despite signage at either end asking horse riders to refrain from using the formed gravel track, there has been some considerable damage caused. It costs time and ratepayer funds to carry out the repairs. It would be appreciated if all horse riders would use the natural surface track alongside, at least until the gravel has fully hardened. Thank you
