19.01.2022 A Fisherman's Kep (from what I understand) is basically an extra long, extra warm beanie - traditionally knit using Fair Isle motifs (maximum of two-colours-per-row). This will be a Kep. But not at all traditional. Lots of block colours and a few sections of three-colours-per-row. If you look closely, you can see one completed Superhero logo, and one emerging Superhero logo. 03.01.2022 #Repost @woollywormhead Introducing Hat no.3 from the 'Imperceptions' collection, 'Hermes'. There's a lot of movement in this design and it was probably one of my favourites to design - so very satisfying. However, it was the hardest to photograph as the camera really didn't know where to focus and we got some very *interesting* results. We needed 3 shoots for this Hat but we got there in the end.... Each Hat in the Imperceptions collection is knitted bottom-up and in the round. The ideal yarn for these Hats is 4-ply or light sportweight, in a multi-plied fibre with some natural give such as merino. The illusions look their best in two high-contrast colours. The patterns in Imperceptions are graded through gauge. Two sizes are included in each pattern, and further help for grading with different yarns and needle sizes will be available on the forums (we'll have our own soon on my website!) As with the others in this collection, I used Malabrigo Arroyo for my samples. The shades used here are 'Pearl' and 'Jupiter'. I'll share more angles over the next few days.
