24.01.2022 Happy International Women’s Day! We’re celebrating by rehearsing for our upcoming trip to Coffs Harbour for Tango Enigmático at the Coffs Con at the end of the month The International Women’s Day 2020 campaign theme #eachforequal is drawn from a notion of 'Collective Individualism.' Which can be likened to working together as an ensemble. We are all parts of a whole. More broadly, our individual actions, conversations, behaviors and mindsets can have an impact on our larger society. Collectively, we can make change happen. Collectively, we can each help to create a gender equal world.

24.01.2022 Feliz año nuevo tangueros! We've been a little quiet since our last concert but that doesn't mean we're not working hard behind the scenes... All will be revealed when the time is right ;-) In the meantime, here's a video of our first live performance of Salgán's 'A Don Agustin Bardi' - featuring Cara's fast fingers, Flora's fun percussive moments and Chloe's groovy bass lines. We hope you enjoy! https://youtu.be/IMZTjwBATxA

21.01.2022 Tune in to Tango Capital tonight or listen on demand from the website to hear Chloe Ann Williamson talk about our upcoming recording project We have a recording date pencilled in for June and with the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions it's looking promising! Fingers crossed!!!

20.01.2022 Another rehearsal video to whet your appetite for A Night in Buenos Aires with Tango Enigmático on this Sunday 10 November. Here's the opening to our namesake, Enigmático by Camilo Ferrero. We’re big fans of Orquesta El Arranque - thank you for inspiring us!

18.01.2022 Rehearsal/workshop time! One of the awesome things about playing music by living composers is having the opportunity to collaborate with them Yesterday we were super lucky to get to work with Exequiel Mantega on a special arrangement of his piece Inmensidad We can’t wait to record it and share it with you! 15.01.2022 Last night we celebrated #díanacionaldetango with a lovely dinner and started making plans for our next projects... Stay tuned!

14.01.2022 Looking forward to our special guest, Jo Lagerlow, joining us for a few tunes this Sunday 10 November! She’ll be playing La Embrujada by Paulina Fain, Inmensidad by Exequiel Mantega and Romance de Barrio by Aníbal Troilo. Bookings recommended! : Flora Wong

12.01.2022 Let’s convert some bad news into good news! Today we were supposed to be making our NSW debut at the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium however due to COVID-19 our concert has been postponed until further notice. Rest assured we’ll be finding a new date as soon as is possible. The ¡GOOD NEWS! is that we have been working towards our first EP recording (currently scheduled for June ) and while we’re staying home to #stopthespread we’ll have lots of time to practise and prepare! Legendary Daniel Kassulke is going to be our sound engineer and we are looking forward to recording works by our favourite living composers including Camilo Ferrero, Ignacio Varchausky, Andres Linetzky, Exequiel Mantega, Owen Salomé - Composer/Performer and a surprise artist, tbc ;-) Watch this space for updates!

11.01.2022 Tango and empanadas - the perfect match! Both beef and vegan empanadas from Asador BNE will be available for $5 each at our next concert on Sunday 10 November! 5 days to go!

10.01.2022 It’s our one year anniversary! This time last year we were playing our very first concert It takes time to grow as an ensemble during these early stages so we’re extremely grateful to everyone for their support during our first year We hope you can join us this Sunday 10 November to see how far we’ve come. Here’s the ending to Leopoldo Federico’s ‘De Tal Palo’ that we played at our first concert - we’ll be reviving it on Sunday!

10.01.2022 This was a recital that started strongly and just got better. With immaculately controlled dynamic range and firm grasp of technique overall underpinning the virtuoso arrangements. Just go see them. -Ann Smith, Producer for Tango Capital 2XXfm 98.3 (Canberra) Thanks for the stellar review Tango Capital! We're so glad you were able to join us in May 2019 for this concert

05.01.2022 Back to rehearsing together after three months off!!! It was exciting enough to be making music together but even MORE exciting to be rehearsing new arrangements created for us by Exequiel Mantega and Camilo Ferrero for the first time!

04.01.2022 Earlier this week we worked with Ignacio Varchausky on his piece Nuevo y vivo and our namesake Enigmático by Camilo Ferrero WOW! What a difference! And so much fun! Can’t wait to record all this awesome music by living legends!

03.01.2022 We can't believe it's been a month since our last performance at Holy Trinity Hall on Sunday 10 November - it was our biggest and best yet! And that is in large part thanks to everyone who came not only to this concert, but to all of our concerts to date. So a massive THANK YOU to everyone for supporting us For those that missed out or want to re-live the opening of our concert, check out this YouTube video of the first piece we performed "De Tal Palo" (https://youtu.be/YGj...VE8egR9M). The picture quality isn't great, but it sounds good - and that's the most important thing, right?! Can't wait to share more tango music with you in 2020! Chloe, Flora and Cara
