25.01.2022 PRODUCT CLEAROUT - won’t ever be cheaper then this! Clearing out what’s left in my office. https://tangoitequine.com.au/shop/

25.01.2022 Here’s a couple tips with the Hoof & Heel oil! Before I use it on my horses, I sit it in the sun for 5 minutes before hand, it softens the top of the oil and makes it soft to apply like vasoline?! Apply to the hoof itself & underneath the hoof around the frog etc! Moisture is soaked up the most from underneath.

23.01.2022 I went to Stanhope yesterday & had a really interesting but awesome release from Harry here! Harry was a bit back sore & while I was treating him with deep direct pressure to his back on the near side, he lifted his near side hind leg, stretched it out, I released the pressure, he put his leg back on the ground, proceeded to have a couple massive yawns.. then dropped his head & shut his eyes in full relaxation mode! I wish I had videoed it but I didn’t know I was going to g...et that kind of release from him! It was just amazing! Thanks for having me Sue! ALSO.. There is a delay in Equi-tape rolls coming from the USA to Australia. There’s a very high chance I won’t have any rolls until the end of October, early November. I only have a few rolls left so I will be saving the tape I do have for the horses who need it the most.

22.01.2022 Guess who’s walking a lot better?! I feel the need to post a public Thankyou to farrier Adam Church. I have thanked him personally already. ...Continue reading

22.01.2022 I really enjoy treating horses that make me think outside the box. Shilo is known for being a cranky mare. Biting, kicking, pins her ears back etc. When I was initially touching her and palpating her, she was her normal cranky self, ears pinned & she did try to bite me once. I then decided to decompress around her head. As soon as I was finished taping, she started to relax and I was able to treat her with no worries at all. The biggest accomplishment was that she will kick when you touch her hind and around her legs. I can happily say that, that wasn’t a issue with me today! I’m super pleased with that! Thanks for having me to treat Shilo & Tucker Emily!

22.01.2022 18 year old, sweetheart Cooper! After his massage, he had a couple minutes to take in his treatment, then came 4 massive releasing yawns! Such a beautiful boy!

21.01.2022 This is Ibis. The last time I saw Ibis, on the 3rd of August (first photo), he wasn’t moving very well at all. His owner Jayme thought his days were over, as it was a on-going issue. I found pain all throughout his hind including his sacroiliac joint. I won’t use technical terms but let’s say entire hind.. I treated him and taped him & left it at that. I saw him again today and Jesus!.. no reaction throughout his hind at all! ... His hamstrings were a bit tender because his actual working his hind properly after YEARS! I also found his gastrocnemius, yep technical term (little blue tape) was so tight you couldn’t move the muscle at all but I could feel exactly where in the muscle it was pulling.. the beauty of feeling hey?! Ibis will be feeling a million bucks again soon! See more

21.01.2022 Our poor Princey Poo is in the wars again. This time, his little front hooves aren’t coping with the rock hard ground. So I have cut some thick sponge to size, and taped it to the bottom of his hooves. I also added in some carpus (knee) supports, to help with the jarring. Poor bugger can’t catch a break! I’ve purchased some special little boots that will act as shoes which hopefully arrive by the end of week!

20.01.2022 Walk Trot Canter Trot Poles Jump ... My spunky boy in Blue today gave me the best ride today in god knows how long! For the first time since my fall, there was no fear or nervousness at all, even when I had a jump! I had pretty loud music going to which I’ve never done before. It’s nice to finally start getting my groove back! Despite my fall, I’m so lucky to have a horse like Charlie Tango, he looks after me. Ps - I did straighten his brow band

20.01.2022 Oh Armani! Loves a good massage!

20.01.2022 SERIES OF VIDEOS - VIDEO 1. Facebook won’t let me do more then 1 video in 1 post . The rest will be in the comments! As you know, I’ve been having trouble with our Shetland and last Thursday morning (10th), I found him like this. I went into panic to say the least! ... My farrier wasn’t available so I quickly rang another who was here within 15 minutes. I knew it was stemming from the hooves. I won’t get into what or why this happened but this is to show progress on myself as a therapist. So after his hooves were released from the pressure, I discovered his hind was messed up because of how he had been walking. Sorry this first is short because I was like SH*T! More videos in comments

20.01.2022 Fully booked until Wednesday 7th October! (which is actually my 30th birthday! )

19.01.2022 Many of you know why I became a therapist and some of you probably don’t because your new here! Well in a very very long story, told short, it was because of his fella here - Charlie Tango. Who is the lady on Charlie? This is Sally Wynne. ... I found Sally after I did some digging on Charlie’s history when I first got him from the sales. Sally bred, trained & raced Charlie and rehomed him to what she thought was his forever home when he was 4 years old. So this photo was taken on this day 1 year ago. The day I got to reunite Charlie with his first mum after 9 years! It was the most amazing day and I still can’t believe I found Sally. After seeing Charlie again this is what she said and I saved it because I just love it! Couldn’t be happier with Charlie Sophie Taiki. I only wish there were more people like you to provide an after racing life that these beautiful guys deserve. I was so glad to see him happy, healthy and fat as a pig thanks for giving Charlie this great life I just think it’s so special! Can’t wait for her to visit again!

19.01.2022 Anyone missing their horses?!

19.01.2022 Today’s just not my day for technology guys, I’ve had nothing but problems with my phone, the page and website! Not sure what the hell is going on but sorry if I’ve missed messages and comments! I can’t see them! Gahhhhh! On another note, so happy with this application I did on Texas today, again, almost symmetrical and his a big boy!

19.01.2022 Loveeeee my cap!

18.01.2022 Hey guys! Troy Burgess who is a Equine Chiropractor has moved to Echuca! I personally don’t know any Echuca based Chiropractors so this is brilliant! I now have a name to give you guys when I think your horse needs a skeletal readjustment!

18.01.2022 There was a point there that I almost thought we were going to lose our Pony Prince. It got quite scary back on the 17th of December when his hind almost completely collapsed. In the space of just 6 weeks, Prince has had majorly scary hind end issues which stemmed from his hooves.. which we estimated to take about 6 months to recover. Then he got ground founder straight after I sorted out his hind issues. It’s been a really rough time for our little dude but somehow, he ha...s almost recovered! It’s times like this when I’m really glad I am able to do what I do! Between massaging him, stabilising his joints, taping him, red lighting him, watching him like a hawk and having farrier Adam Church come to do his feet and tweak them when I thought he needed tweaking, we have almost got him back, in just 6 weeks! I can honestly say, if I wasn’t a therapist, I would of considered putting him down, it was really hard and sad to see him in pain.. but I knew between myself & Adam, we could do it! I wasn’t sure how long it would take us, but I knew we could! This pony means the world to me, but most importantly my daughter. I couldn’t be happier to see him almost back to his normal, happy self! I will leave the taped sponge to his hooves until his little boots come, just incase! I almost teared up watching my daughter walk her pony again.. it’s been a long time! See more

14.01.2022 A very wise old farrier told me recently, It’s all about the quality of your work, not the quantity! Even though I already knew it, it will stick with me forever.. because it doesn’t matter if your flat out 24/7, if your work is , it means nothing. ... Being a therapist might be a hobby now, due to my parental commitments this year, but each horse I treat has always been, and always will be, treated as quality, not just another number in my diary! From day 1, I’ve always been here for the horse. That will never change. I love this photo Ann-Maree took yesterday of myself & Harry. Thankyou for having me treat your boys again Ann-Maree!

13.01.2022 I just noticed one of my pooches, Sahara, is limping. I know nothing about Canine anatomy but I taped her anyway! (I just fibbed without realising.. I do know a bit about dogs, well I have 4 dogs & I used to Vet nurse back in the day ) Looks the part, it will be interesting to see if it works on her! (If she doesn’t pull it off!)

12.01.2022 Today I got to meet the lovely Tiana, who works at Kyabram Equine Vet Clinic - it was awesome to meet someone else in the field! Big & beautiful Will, rested his head on Tianas hand while I was working on him. It was really really sweet to see him sink into relaxation!

12.01.2022 Fun fact about me, if you didn’t know! I used to Vet Nurse! I just found this photo from 2015. I really enjoyed surgeries.. I was the nurse for both my cat & one of my dogs when they were desexed.

12.01.2022 Hey guys, I just wanted to do a post with a bunch of information to pin to the top of my Facebook page so it’s the first thing you see when you visit TANGO IT Equine Therapeutics & Services. So who is Sophie Taiki? ...Continue reading

12.01.2022 FULLY BOOKED THIS WEEK! Thanks for keeping me busy!

12.01.2022 Just a wee reminder guys, I only treat on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s (the super occasional Saturday too but that’s when I do my 12/13 hour day travelling & treating in isolated towns). As you know, I am a mother to a 4 year old & my husband who is a full time sheep shearer, he works away Monday to Friday so weekends are for family time, even though I always reply to clients on the weekends , and the Tuesday/Thursday, well those are my days to work my horses, keep m...y house and property presentable & get some me time in peace! Hope everyone had a nice weekend! How was that rain?! It was a absolute flop! I was expecting torrential rain! I even tied down the trampoline! I thought I would share a photo of something non horse related for once!

11.01.2022 Oh Harry! He just LOVES his treatments! His a special boy, he was down the back of his paddock today & I called him and he came pelting up the paddock to me! Such a sweet 3 year old!

10.01.2022 Hello everyone! bookings are now open for our first clinic of 2021. Do you not go riding with friends in fear of: "what if I need to stop?"... "What if my horse acts up" "I don't want to hold them back." "what if I get too anxious and want to turn back and I wreck it for them?" do you not ride alone for fear of: "What if I fall off?" "What if my horse goes crazy?" Well what if you got together with a group of people all in the same mind set? What if you were given the tools to help overcome these anxieties? And what if you changed you way of thinking... The clinic will focus on developing both horse and rider calmness, suppleness and confidence. If you are too nervous to go out on the trail alone or with friends. This clinic will encourage you and prepare you and your equine partner in a fun, relaxed and non judgmental atmosphere so you and your horse can reach your riding goals. The day will include: - A 1:1 lesson with Zoe -Be involved in a group lesson -Lunch (please advise of any dietary requirements on booking) -Have the opportunity to take a trail ride with a group of like minded individuals in the same boat as you when it comes to getting out on the trails. The day will cost $100 per riding participant. Fence sitters welcome for $20. Ages 14 and up. maximum 10 participants For more information and bookings please message the intrinsic equine business page.

07.01.2022 Morning everyone! How bloody cold is it?! I never thought I would be booking out so quickly all the time, it’s amazing! I literally cannot fit any more treatments in until Friday the 9th of October (after lunch), then next available after that is Wednesday the 14th October. ... If you would like your horse treated by me, I recommend booking in advance because I hate not being able to treat when you would like me too. I know it’s hard when horses need a treatment ASAP and I do my absolute best to shuffle everyone around and come up with a plan but for non-emergency treatments, I recommend booking a wee bit in advance or just try get in early. Also remember my daughter does to daycare in Moama so I need to allocate time to get over the bridge to pick her up. It takes about a hour in the arvos to get over the bridge so this is why I’ve been finishing treating around 3/3.30pm. So I’m really sorry if I can’t help! Always happy to pass on other people’s names who do massage that I know of, eg Dennis Redden (I think Dennis is Tatura based?) & Maurie Thomson (Stanhope based). Erin White does Red Light Therapy (Stanhope based).

07.01.2022 Woo hooooo! My merchandise order arrived literally just now! So in love with my trucker cap! Myself & my dad got one. All orders will be sent out today! ... Thankyou to everyone who wears my logo, I appreciate it more then you’ll ever realise! See more

06.01.2022 Today is Day 9 since our Princey poos hind almost fully collapsed. There was talks on potentially a 6 month recovery for him and I can’t even believe how much he has improved in just 9 days from myself body working him! What a way to finish the year! My kiddo will be really happy that his almost ready to be ridden again (walking)! ... If you can see this post, could you let me know please? For some reason, I don’t think my posts are being seen.. what the heck Facebook?

04.01.2022 Update on our pony! We are making great progress! 2.5 weeks in, 2 different style hoof trimmings, 3 full body work treatments from me & we have our first little trot since August! Our ground isn’t to crash hot but check out that hind end, it’s finally starting to function properly again! Really really over the moon with the progress!

03.01.2022 Since we are on fun facts about me.. here’s just one more! I had the absolute pleasure of being employed at Nathalia Boarding Kennels & Cattery aswell in 2016 & 2017. My daughter had a bunch of surgeries which lead me to sadly resigning to look after her but I had the best time & I still miss it to this day! As you can probably tell now, I’m ALL about animals, BIG & small.
