25.01.2022 Its quite RARE to see this much instability across South East QLD & North East NSW. These values are EXTREMELY unstable for Australian standards and something t...hat is more common in the United States during the peak of their season. Expect an extremely big storm day for Saturday! An excessive number of storms are LIKELY going to become severe for damaging winds, heavy rain and large hail and numerous storms could intensify further into supercells or very dangerous storms with GIANT hail, DESTRUCTIVE winds and torrential rainfall. A tornado or 2 cant be ruled out either due to the very strong wind shear available. 18.01.2022 We absolutely love the idea of espalier fruit trees in the garden. Espalier is a technique to make a tree grow into a flat shape up against a wall or fence. The... shape is achieved by pruning or bending branches and securing with ties or wire until the bendy branches become firm and hold the shape themselves. The techniques can be applied to nearly any fruit tree and are a great space saving idea as the trees take up very little room but still produce heavy crops. Ideal fruit trees for espalier are peach, nectarine, Apple, pear, Nashi pear and cherry trees...even citrus. You can get very creative and make shapes like circles and hearts or patterns like Criss cross. Here’s a link to a YouTube video about how to espalier fruit trees. 15.01.2022 NEWS UPDATE The Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed that JobKeeper will continue in its current form until 27 September, as per the government’s origin...al plan. After September the scheme will be extended until March 2021 with some changes. To be eligible beyond September, businesses will still need to show evidence that their turnover is down by 30 per cent or more over the past two quarters due to COVID-19. There will now be two payment levels with the standard payment being reduced to $1200 and $750 for those working less than 20 hours per week.

This means all of our Local Government Areas are included. Our entire region can visit family, friends, work and go to appointments. The northern border bubble line has been removed, this allows free travel anywhere in QLD. Residents will still need to apply for a border pass. QLD haven't updated the website yet. The... declaration forms are valid for seven days, and if the traveller does not enter the state within then, they will need to reapply for a new one. Police say they'll show 'compassion and understanding' for travellers in the short-term, who may have been unaware of the sudden change. Here's what you need to know. 04.01.2022 The Gold Coast Bulletin has announced that Costco filed a development application with the Gold Coast City Council on Friday to build a warehouse on a 13,620sq ...m site at Westfield’s Coomera Town Centre. The retail giant, which already has one outlet in north Brisbane and another in Ipswich, has entered an agreement with Scentre Group and Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) to start construction of a warehouse and petrol station complex in early 2021.
