25.01.2022 Gran Casa Blanca means Big White House and is an exploration of the many shades of white. Measuring a large 2000 x 1300mm may seem a minimalistic artwork but in fact it embodies at least 23 various colours. . Available now via @kiraandkira

Artwork is that magic element that can really tie a space together, elevating a design beyond the ordinary. It’s also the perfect opportunity to introduce colour into your home, particularly if you’re working with a largely neutral palette The secret is to create a focal point without using strong contrasting colours which will fight for attention. Pulling tones from your artwork and using them in accessories or textiles - such as cushions, will give your space that designer feel that just ‘works’ In our Z + S office, we worked with Tania Blanchard to create a custom piece of art to complete our space. To ensure the artwork was cohesive and just the perfect shade, we asked Tania to incorporate our @coloursmithanz custom wall colour ‘Muted Sage by Zephyr + Stone’ within the painting. We gave Tania our @taubmans Sample Pot and she worked her magic, resulting in a piece of art that works perfectly and harmoniously within the space This stunning artwork is called ‘Pasturelands’, and is part of a series called ‘The Pasture’ The visible texture and soft, muted palette are the perfect combination, and although now sold, this painting will be available as a print from next month Photography: @villastyling See more

16.01.2022 ‘Sunset Boulevard’ bought a year ago at my ‘Silence in Colour’ exhibition was installed only recently in time for Christmas. This gorgeous couple fell in love with the large scale abstract and even though their dream home wasn’t even built yet they just had to have it. Thankfully it fits the purpose built wall and looks like it was meant to be...Simon and Emily your new home is stunning!

02.01.2022 The Transcendent series has been inspired by my love for mid-century modern art and design. Each painting is unique and colourful using repeated patterns in an unstructured way all with same texture you’d expect from any of my artworks. 01.01.2022 ‘It’s Just Black’ artwork was created for award winning architect @sarahwallerarchitecture who is renown for loving black. Sarah commissioned a piece inspired by previous works of mine where various coloured blacks are used and it was her husbands idea to add one dot of bright pink! The title is a cheeky take on when clients ask Sarah what colour it is her response is it’s just black. I cannot wait to see photos of this painting in Sarah’s home.
