24.01.2022 What a year 2020 has been. While it’s not a year that I would necessarily like to repeat I would have to say it’s come with a lot of blessings for us. This has been the first year hubby has not traveled every month since we got married. A whole year with him has been wonderful. My son played NPL soccer for a club over an hour away and our weekends were tough. It’s taught us to savour our loved ones and trust Gods plan in it all. He has grown exponentially this year and ba...ck at our local club again stronger than ever. My daughter learnt that she would not die in isolation with online learning although she cried daily for her school and friends. She has grown resilience and more appreciation for her friends and teachers. We love our school and the support they have given our kids this year. I took on a new direction in my photography this year and started a new business. It’s been my best year yet and I’m incredibly thankful for each one of YOU that has loved and supported my business in any way. I have met wonderful people along the way. I have come to savour the freedoms we have when threatened with a pandemic and isolation. Simple walks and beach holidays will never be taken for granted. Catching up with special friends and being able to call family overseas and still see them via Skype is a blessing. My prayer for anyone who has had their worst year, loss in any form, financial strain and stress, whatever your struggle has been, I pray God will draw you close, bring you peace and comfort and bring breakthrough for you in 2021. Thank you everyone who has journeyed with me on social media this year. Thank you for your encouragement, love and support in my passion for photography. I wish you a blessed and safe Christmas. 21.01.2022 GLOW WORMS || These incredible creatures are only found in Australia and New Zealand. We visited the Glow Worm Cave at Mt Tamborine. Did you know the light of the glow is a bioluminescent light produced by a chemical reaction. The females shine brighter than the males. 16.01.2022 RAINY DAY NOSTALGIA || I dont know about you but I just LOVE rainy days. I love that I can hibernate in my home and watch the beauty happen outside. It also reminds me of our dear sister who we lost to cancer last year. Diane too loved these rainy days and I can never go passed thinking about her and what she would be doing if she was still here. I am reminded too that nothing is certain about life here on earth, loosing a loved one, living through a worldwide pandemic, you never know what life may throw at you. But I am certain in my eternal life. My hope is in Christ alone. Weather you love the rain or not, heres to a happy Friday evening and a wonderful weekend.
