19.01.2022 haha tan - great minds almost think alike. Tonight i have made a chicken and vege lasagne which my kids have just wolfed down (to my delight) and it seriously tastes devine...might have to be one for the cook book :)

18.01.2022 Hi everyone- just wanted to remind you all that we will be at this years PANIYIRI FESTIVAL on Saturday 22nd May - cooking an awesome 2 dish spectacular which promises to be a lot of fun...then we take to the mainstage at 7pm for Greek Dancing with the Stars (and yes, dancing is not our forte). Then follow us down the coast to the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show on Sunday 23rd May for more seafood demo's!! Who's coming???

13.01.2022 went out for dinner at Tomato Brothers in Ormiston Brisbane last night - the new owners certainly know how to put on a banquet! I'd love to know where everyone else has been dining lately?

11.01.2022 (from Tanja)... Just visited my favourite shopping experience - Burlington's Asian supermarket in the valley, and bought up big. It's an asian banquet tonight, their mushrooms are so cheap and fresh, and I'm just in love with the seasoned nori sheet packs, I've been eating them as a snack all the way home. Dont be scared, go in and explore for yourselves!

11.01.2022 I've been using traditional baking tins all my life, but seeing the new range of silicone molds hitting the shelves makes me wonder, what are they like? So, have you used them, What do you think, are they easier to use then traditional tins? Do they work? I would love your feedback.... Tan, from Sisters in the Kitchen.

10.01.2022 Make sure you come on down to the HIA home show at the Brisbane convention centre next weekend (31st july and 1st august). Tanja and Gen will be cooking 2 of their favourite dishes onstage at 11am both days :)

This afternoon I went on a little kitchen rampage and roasted beetroots, made chicken stock, chicken soup, broccoli and cauliflower pies, lamb roast and am just about to put on a batch of anzacs. What did everyone else do this long weekend?
