25.01.2022 Ok, I think I have everything ready for our first online lesson for our members! I have sent the relevant invite to those that have replied to me with their email address so they will be able to log in and join us! I am of the understanding that when you click on the link in the invite that I have sent, you will be prompted to download the software for Zoom, you don't have to create an account to join the meeting. Remember to warm yourselves up 10-15 mins before the lesson so we can get the most out of the time we have together. I look forward to seeing you all next week!

20.01.2022 Big shout out to my Taekwondo family! how are you all doing under these extreme circumstances? are you all still sane? I hope you are all safe, healthy and as happy as you can possibly be in this current situation! Last week, I joined a training lesson with Grand Master Tan and a group of black belts from our extended family on a Zoom video meeting and while it has it's challenges, it is a good opportunity for us all to remain active and in touch during this time. As such I h...ave set up a Zoom account to trial it with our group! I have set the timings of the training sessions up as a recurring meeting under three sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights beginning on the 21st of April. 1. White belts starting at 18:00 - 18:30 2. Yellow belts starting at 18:45 - 19:15 and 3. Blue/Red belts starting at 19:30 - 20:00 You will note that they are only 30 min lessons, this is because the meetings are capped at 40 mins when more than 3 participants. Over the next week or so I am going to film a few different warm up follow along videos, I will get everyone that wishes to participate to warm themselves up by following one of the warm up sessions prior to our training session so we can get the most out of our brief time together. make sure you time it right! so as not to miss out! 02.01.2022 Goodmorning Taekwondo family, I have some bad news in regard to our return to training I'm afraid. The PCYC is still going to be closed to our activities for another two weeks and could possibly stretch to longer. I have spoken to the PCYC and have information about what I need to have in place once we can return, so I can work on that side of things now however it still leaves us in a bind as to our continuing to train. The Zoom classes were good for a period of time but I f...eel they have run their course, it was difficult at times to connect plus there is only so much you can do without that face to face contact to better assist on correct form and technique. I had a thought to train in the park once a week just to keep something going but there are quite a few hoops I have to jump through to do that too I'm told. Also I am worried about any of you being put at risk by us coming together as a group and continuing activities. I will continue to look at options and talk to other groups to see if we can come up with something in the mean time but for now I have to keep the doors closed until further notice.
