25.01.2022 A huge congratulations to our talented Junior girls team who played in the BVHA Junior Girls Competition on Sunday, finishing the day equal top in the comp & only going down based on goal difference Despite not all playing together before, our talented girls played some brilliant team hockey, you should all be very proud! Congratulations also to Bethany Wayling for winning top goal scorer A massive thank you to Kate Hongell and Michael Jarrett for coaching the team and also to all the volunteers and other BVHA clubs, thank you!

21.01.2022 Congratulations to one of our youngest A Grade players, Breanna Collings, who has been selected in the "train on" squad for the SA U21 team for 2021. Bree is the fifth member of the Collings family to play for Tanunda and started playing with us as a 5 yr old. This year she played for Trinity College, U18 and Metro 1 for North East and our A grade team whenever she could fit a fourth game into her busy weekend schedule. Her speed on the field is a match for big sis' Sophie's, and when the two of them team up in attack, they can run rings around the best defensive line-up and usually ends with a spectacular goal. We look forward to watching your game develop even further, Bree!

21.01.2022 THC Annual General Meeting (AGM) When: Monday 9 November at 7.30pm Where: Tanunda Hotel, 51 Murray Street ... This is an important meeting for our hockey club and it needs to be well attended by you, our club members to have your say. Please RSVP, or register an apology, via email: [email protected] Please note: All financial members (including parents/guardians of junior members) can vote at the AGM. One of the key proceedings at the AGM will be to confirm the 2021 committee. As per the Tanunda Hockey Club Constitution, all committee positions will be declared vacant at the AGM. The constitution outlines the committee is to comprise: (a) The positions of president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer; and (b) At least three but not more than six additional committee members Nominations must be provided in writing, signed by the nominee and delivered to the club (either via email to [email protected], or posted to PO Box 466, Tanunda SA 5352) not less than seven (7) days before the AGM. Anybody seeking more information about committee positions can request a job description via email [email protected]

11.01.2022 The THC are seeking applications for coaches and assistant coaches for the A Men’s and B Women’s teams for season 2021! Our club is committed to fostering team environments where players of all abilities are encouraged and developed. If you have any questions or know someone who might be suitable, please contact senior coordinator Nick Dry (0411487495). Position descriptions available upon request.... Applications must: Be emailed to [email protected] by 23rd December 2020. Clearly indicate which position and team is being applied for. Outline previous experience and provide evidence of certificates/qualifications. Expressions of interest for Team Managers and Junior coaching positions will be posted in early January. Important Note: Trainings in 2021 will be Wednesday afternoon/evening.

Talent ID Camps are a 1-day program held in each Regional & Metr...opolitan area that combines intensive skill & tactical development in a competitive environment. Throughout the camp, there will be skill development drills & modified games. The camp provides athletes with the opportunity to not only improve as a hockey player but to be identified by Academy Coaches, Selectors & High-Performance Staff for selection into the 2021 Fire Academy.
