21.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE We have this afternoon received a directive from SA Health which includes our Physio clinic. From Tuesday 1st December the below rules apply to our clinic.... We thank you for your cooperation and understanding in helping us remain compliant with these requirements PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SINGLE USE FACEMASK All people (including patients, patient’s family members, healthcare staff, administrative staff, contractors and cleaning staff) are required to wear single use surgical masks when on healthcare sites. We have a limited supply and can provide them if you are unable to access your own while you adjust to the new rules, however given the number of masks we will need in order to cater to all people coming onsite over the course of this directive, ongoing provision is not sustainable so we thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: There are exceptions to mask wearing in some situations, such as, certain breathing difficulties, mental health conditions, communication with deaf or hard or hearing community members, people under the age of 12. 1 person per 4m2 applies to all indoor areas. PLEASE DON'T BRING PEOPLE WITH YOU UNLESS THEY NEED TO ACCOMPANY YOU (eg carers)... This density rule excludes staff. 1.5m between non related people should be maintained where possible. We have limited room available in our welcome area and reception, and due to the 1 person per 4m2 rule, we request that you limit people in addition to yourself attending the appointment to help us keep compliance. We will have chairs placed in various locations around the clinic to maximise seating, as well as outside where weather permits. QR code check in will be provided for contact tracing requirements There will be a manual check in for those who do not have smart phones

15.01.2022 Important Note: Business as Usual Our services will not be disrupted by the closures within The Rex due to the use by the Hawthorn Football Club. While at these times we will be unable to use the closed areas, we have equipment in the room to use in our accessible areas, and should your appointment require the inaccessible areas we will work with you to ensure y...our appointment is held at an appropriate time. 01.01.2022 Please help us in welcoming Amy to our team at Tanunda Physio: After graduating from a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia, I moved to Bordertown, where I worked in a local private practice for 3 years. Over my 3 years spent in Bordertown, I developed my skills in musculoskeletal injuries, workplace injuries and occupational health. I have a keen interest in hand therapy and have began professional development to further my knowledge and skills in t...his area. This interest sprung from working in the occupational health field and treating many factory workers suffering from hand injuries. I have spent 2 years working onsite in abattoirs, and find the acute and complex injuries a great challenge. I undertook training in GLA:D (Good Life with Arthritis) in 2018 where I developed knowledge and skills to treat people suffering from Arthritis and empowering them with knowledge to help live a healthy and active lifestyle. I have been lucky enough to participate in a large amount of professional development, which means that I have a varied knowledge base. I enjoy the challenge of treating a diverse range of conditions, from musculoskeletal, sports injuries, neck and back problems to neurological conditions, occupational health and hand therapy. Not only does this keep me on my toes, but gives me great pleasure in treating differing age groups and backgrounds. Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active and playing local sports. You will often find me at the river, water skiing or just simply enjoying time outdoors with family and friends. I look forward to working with you, "inside the Rex on Magnolia Street or at our 8 Murray Street location. https://www.tanunda.physio/amy.html
