25.01.2022 I've had many clients who have dogs with reoccurring ear problems and I often treat them with this solution it is amazing and will often fix many issues without a vet visit. I could only get it from America but now it is available here on this link I have provided. A syringe with about 2ml is the easiest way to use this product. You will not be wasting your money it actually works and is mostly natural ingredients.

24.01.2022 My expecting parents Luna and Archie don't do pregnant grooms very often but makes me nervous she is such a sweetheart. Archie struts around like he knows he's the man. Winter is not my favorite month for shaving warm coats off the looks I get lol.

24.01.2022 Would like my clients to be aware it is peak paralysis tick season and this year is already showings signs of plague proportions of this menacing creature. Treatment at a vet is usually $1000 minimum prevention is as little as $15 a month. Monthly chews i have found Bravecto on ebay $42 for 3 months or tick collar $19 3-6months. There are many other options so talk to your vet. Even if treated you should still perform tick checks. Have provided a link below to keep you informed please take the time to read as it may save your pets life.

23.01.2022 Let's start the week with some laughs because this rain is so not funny anymore. Halloween just around the corner.

21.01.2022 My job isn't easy during the colder months for starters my hands and fingers ache more and the looks I get when I shave off amazing long coats is priceless. #doggroomingipswich

21.01.2022 Going to flood my page with the beautiful moments I have at work because I'm over the drama. Let's take a photo of the cutest little creature Tinkerbell the teacup poodle who has the longest tongue you have ever seen. Can I get a shot without the tongue lol #doggrooming

21.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all my beautiful clients hope you all enjoy a break i certainly will after a busy month have worked some hours this week. Hope you enjoyed the Chrissy pics. Look forward to seeing you all in 2020. Safe and happy holidays from Roxy and I.

20.01.2022 Love this idea think the cones are annoying for dogs and if you've ever copped one in the shin it ain't funny.

17.01.2022 Everbody knows I'm pretty easy going with my business but I've decided some rules need to be implemented on pickup and drop off times. The times i give for dropping your pet off are very important as I'm usually working to finish off another clients pet. If you arrive early i have a reception area but it is not sound proof. If your dog is nervous, crying or yelping please feel free to walk your pet around the yard or sit them in my seating area under the trees. A noisy dog s...everely distracts the dog I'm working on in my room. 15 minutes early i quite understand and can usually accommadate but 30 minutes i cannot. If you arrive early to pick up your dog please refrain from talking in my reception area even a cough or phone bleep is enough as once a dog hears or smells their owner it's game over for me i lose all control over them they are so smart and this is not their fault. Pickup times this has been a huge issue for me lately they are in place for a reason. I set my times so that as one client arrives another will drop off. The reason for this is if i have too many dogs some will have to sit in a cage i don't like doing this and it is time consuming rotating dogs so they do not sit in a cage for more than 10 minutes. Once i have texted a completion time or have given you one 15-30 minutes is an exceptable time allowance not 3 hours which has happened this week. Longer stays need to be organised with me and if your pet is happy to chillax no problem if they are an anxious dog i cannot it's distressing for me and other dogs. Will be placing a sign in my reception for clients to explain this new arrangement. Sorry for long post but had to be done. See more

16.01.2022 Now here is a food I was not aware is toxic to dogs. I usually encourage people to feed there dogs fruit and only knew that grapes should not be given to dogs. One of my clients recently fed some star fruit to her dog he became very ill. He barely weighs 1 kilo so the effect was dramatic. I've added a link that I have found very informative of poisons to dogs but the site is American so the hotline number is not useful in Australia. https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/contact/

16.01.2022 How important it is to have your dog micro chipped as soon as you get it. Please watch video.

15.01.2022 Just wanted to let my clients know there are road works happening at One Mile that will affect your journey to my business. Please allow extra time at least 15 minutes. The next 6 months will be the worst. Will try to advise of short cuts that may help you out.

15.01.2022 My last post for the year and the last of my Chrissy pics next year I'm going to video my photo sessions just so you all know I would never want to be a pet photographer. Had some great laughs as well. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

14.01.2022 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your pets. I will be closed for business as of today and returning to full duties Monday 7th January 2019. Will be busy over my break but happy for clients to text anytime but won't always be available to take calls. See you in the New Year.

13.01.2022 Just wanted to let my clients know my business will close over Christmas Friday 20th December will be my last day of appointments in 2019 resuming Monday 6th January 2020. Happy for clients to text me to make appointments over the Chrissy break but I may not be available to answer calls but please leave me a message and I will get back to you. My appointments are filling quickly for these final weeks.

13.01.2022 Would like to congratulate Rhonda and her little precious boy Bean winning my competition. Don't let the cuteness fool you he often gives me a gremlin face when he doesn't like something usually back legs if I find a knot. Thanks to all who participated and a gift will be coming your way on next visit please remind me if I forget. Also thanks to everyone who has been using my option to bank deposit lovely to see my clients prompt payments and I really appreciate this.

13.01.2022 Hope you are all coping and keeping your sense of humour. If your as confused as me with all the rules just remember many things get a little lost in their translation. #doggrooming

11.01.2022 There are always those breeds that I groom that look amazing with their long and lush coats that even i ask myself why am I shaving you naked. Yes brushing and maintaining are hard work but I don't feel that satisfaction when completed. Please don't judge me lol April and May are the best months to get your dog clipped before the Winter chill kicks in. #doggrooming

11.01.2022 Starting to feel a little like Christmas. #doggrooming

11.01.2022 Beautiful Milly has an amazing coat but her owner likes short all over for Summer and I'm pretty sure she loves it.

10.01.2022 Do dogs enjoy a bath some more than others Zelda a 10 for after bath antics. Somebody stop me lol

10.01.2022 2 weeks to go woohoo #christmasdogvideo

10.01.2022 More Chrissy magic having so much fun and then there are those camera shy who make it difficult end result worthwhile. Thanks to my clients appreciation. #christmasdogvideo

10.01.2022 Not sure if this is cute or a little creepy. They are groomed well is my positive only a dog could look that good after sleeping lol

09.01.2022 Most awesome award goes to Oreo first full groom at 5 months usually wait till they're at least 6 months but we did a puppy trim first and she was so chillaxed. She was a little head shy but that was a minor. #doggrooming

08.01.2022 Does anyone on my page have their cats groomed and can recommend someone. I often have clients ask if I groom cats which I don't. Recommendations would be appreciated.

08.01.2022 Merry Christmas to my staff and family member Roxy such an important part of my business. She did not make this easy for me she is scared of heights the photo table about 40cm high lol #doggrooming

08.01.2022 What a busy couple of weeks I'm having lots of newbies thanks for my loyal clients recommendations. Welcome Katie forgot to get an after shot. My biggest mission this week 2 gorgeous puppies Ziggy and coco who have had 2 puppy trims and guessed right away Coco had a strong and willful personality. They got a little matted as a puppy coat does and needed fullgrooms. Well let me tell you has been a challenge. Last week spent 2 hours on them and sent them home looking like a mo...wer attacked them. Today Ding Ding round 2 another good couple of hours and definitely some improvement. Most of the Matt's gone and they let me scissor their heads. Coming back next week to finish them off. I truly believe in not forcing a dog to be groomed and this can take some puppies 12 to 18 months of age to accept. Lots of laughs but definitely need patience to be a dog groomer. Will show pics next week stay tuned. Lucky I'm not a quitter. Thanks Mandy for your help. #doggrooming See more

07.01.2022 Haven't had many new puppies lately but this one was gorgeous Gigi shitzu 4 months old for her first trim and tidy and she was awesome. I try not to do too much at this age but she was great with bath blowdryer and clipper noise. This will be a nice change from her brother from another Mojo who has quite a file of mischief. Glad to see Mojo recently survived being attacked by other dogs he seemed his normal self humping Roxy and cocking his leg lol.

07.01.2022 Harry came for his weekly bath today and i just found out he nearly died only a week ago from paralysis ticks while his owner was away on holidays. Surprised by how quickly he has recovered. The vet she took him to says they have had 35 cases in last couple of months. His owner does regular tick checks. He is the coolest dog but will take some time for a full recovery he did sit on the lounge after a bath for 10 minutes which he never does. They shaved him so naked and i had to fix him up a bit. Please take tick prevention seriously this season.

06.01.2022 I usually have the pleasure of videoing moments in the grooming room. This video was sent to me after his day with me getting a cut and obviously exhausted after the experience. Biggest snore ever Jimmy must be the shampoo relaxing. Turn up your volume. #doggrooming

06.01.2022 With lots of extra time these days I've been researching how to use my phone to take amazing photos of my clients dogs using filters. It's not always easy but have had some fun. Now it's your turn I haven't had a competition in awhile so here it is. I would like to see my clients produce some magic moments of their pets. Here are some of the rules must be a product of phone no filtering apps like Snapchat. You must be a client not just visiting my page to enter.. Please put picture in comments and the one that gets the most likes will win a free groom and a bottle of my amazing shampoo. 3 likes per client please. Will keep this running for a couple of weeks. Happy snapping.

06.01.2022 Just letting my clients know that I will be accepting payment for grooming as a bank deposit for next 4 months or more. I will still take cash but understand that some people do not like this option. Would like prompt payment and a screenshot sent to me would be appreciated. I can pass on account details on the day of appointment. Thanks

06.01.2022 During Winter you can maintain your dogs coat without clipping them back short it's called a trim and tidy. This includes bath/blow dry coat brushed and nails cut. Only face/feet and hygiene area is clipped and styled. Price depends on size and coat length to be dryed small breeds usually between $25-35. Also remember not all coats need to be cut back short you can do longer lengths as long as there hair isn't matted. #doggroomingipswich

03.01.2022 It's that time of year again and although I had a break last year from Chrissy photo sessions I've got my ass into gear for this year. Time permitting and if your dog co-operates I will try my best to provide a photo. #doggrooming

03.01.2022 I have recieved a message from the creators of this event. Very passionate about the importance of therapy dogs especially hospitals. Was a little conflicted as one of the prizes is a rival grooming business but I'm going to overlook this as i know my clients are loyal and they can spend it on food or pet products. I think all our pets help during the c 19 time and I've been so happy to see how many animals have been rehomed one positive in a very large list of negatives in 2020. https://tinyurl.com/y7psg992

02.01.2022 Thought it was about time we had our first competition for 2019. I remembered I have had the pleasure of grooming 2 new puppies who are sisters but 2 different owners Penny and Maya. Penny chocolate and Maya the runt of the litter cream. I have only seen this breed once before when I studied to be a groomer 12 years ago. This breed has a very specific trait they are used to find a delicacy used for cooking and it is very expensive. All you have to do is name this breed in the comments to be entered into a draw to win a free groom. I'm sorry but the owners of these dogs cannot enter. Will let this run till this Friday when I will announce the winner. Good luck googling.

01.01.2022 Challenging times ahead my business will remain open at this time but I will have to change procedures to keep myself and clients safe. I would like all clients to abide by my appointment times if you arrive early please feel free to walk your dog in my yard or shaded tree. I'm closing all access to my shed and reception room, myself and dogs only. I would prefer all dogs on leads unless they are elderly and have to be carried. I will collect your dog and bring them inside which is going to be challenging. I will be leaving my grooming door open to view arrivals and pickups. I didn't like the idea of having to clean surfaces between each client this was easier believe me I clean up enough dog accidents lol. Stay safe and sane.
