15.01.2022 With the new steps in place for COVID-19, starting at 11:59 on 13th September, there are some questions, people have been asking what they can and can't do. I will make it a bit easier for everyone to follow. Single people who live alone, including single parents, can now nominate another single person or single parent to be part of their social bubble. You can only visit the person who is part of your bubble if they do not live with another person. If you're nominated pe...rson does live another person, they can not be home while you are there. You must wear a face-covering at all times, while at your nominated persons home. The 5 km rule does not apply for the social bubble; however, a Melbourne resident can not nominate a person from Regional Victoria and vice versa. The curfew for Melbourne still applies, which means you must be home and not travelling between 9pm to 5am. The roadblocks will still be in place until the end of October at this stage. If you have any questions or concerns about the rules, please contact the Coronavirus hotline on 1800 675 398. I know this is a different time for many, but please stay strong and if you are down and suffering from Mental Health, please remember there are resources which can help, or just call a mate and have a chat to them over the phone. We will get through this.
