24.01.2022 Holistic Approach FDC is a unique, national FDC scheme that currently has in excess of 160 registered FDC educators. With an 'exceeding' rating assessment resu...lt across 4 states it is very clear that the educators & management of hafdc have a very clear vision & well defined goals . A huge part of that amazing achievement has been the ability of educators & management to continually 'reflect' on current early education & care practices striving forward with a passionate , committed approach of 'making a difference '. HAFDC is a scheme who are committed to 'working for their educators' through respecting , valuing , acknowledging & inspiring each educator to be 'the best they can be ' in their professional role . Management are aware of & respectful to the diverse needs of each educator & work tirelessly to ensure ongoing support & professional development opportunities are provided . One thing for certain at HAFDC is the definate 'T' within the word 'team '. Let's share a few reflections why members of our hafdc family ( educators & management ) described Holistic Approach FDC as being the FDC scheme for them : For me it's the feeling of belonging & being supported no matter how far apart we are . Hafdc is not just about me as an educator but more about my family as well. For me it's by far the learning! While I may not be an educator I also love our connections , our community & our achievements as a scheme . For me it's the friendships you make without even meeting each other . A great consultant who is there for you. I love the connections we make with all kinds of people involved with our scheme I love that we are unique & work as a team who are always learning from each other For me the security is important . I know that Alina & the entire team are there & know exactly what they are doing . I don't have to worry from a regulatory point of view as the scheme go above & beyond what's expected. For me it's working with humble , respectful people who are all holistically minded For me it's respect , understanding & flexibility which I didn't receive from my previous scheme I love that I have always felt in control & supported in my role . The amazing team at hafdc are always contactable , supporting & challenge me . I am so lucky to work with so many people who inspire me & who are willing to share their strengths .

21.01.2022 Care Packages For our Troops: Thank you to Holistic Approach FDC for promoting such a meaningful activity for us to be involved in! And a big Thank you to all of our Children and families for their participation! We had so many discussions about the sacrifices that our troops make to keep us and other innocent people safe! We Read stories about our Anzac’s. We shopped for items for our care packages, and we packed our box which turned into 2 boxes as we collected so many items! Great opportunities for us to learn and develop appreciation for what others do in our world

20.01.2022 What a wonderful week of Learning, Understanding and Accepting! So many conversations - books - you tube clips all full of knowledge! Great input from the children as we created a wall display "Let's take the next steps" with wonderful words such as understanding, partnerships, respect, caring, love, friendships, we are all special - being spoken to add to the display. We also added cards with photo's, handprints and a little blurb "I am different and awesome because..." for... each child in the service. Australian animals included in play dough and plush style were available for the children to explore. Thank you to a post on The Koori Curriculum's page - we also created an Acknowledgement of Country song that we will sing in our service each day to pay respect to our local Aboriginal people - The Biripi People See more

18.01.2022 This week we meet Tanya! She is not only our wonderful Consultant for Mid North Coast NSW, but also an Educator! We are so excited to be introducing you to members of our Management Team. We are very proud to have such a dedicated and hands on team working with our Educators!

08.01.2022 This week we joined in to celebrate Family Day Care Week ~ where we celebrated how every child is a Star! Art & Craft activities, Games and play sessions, Star shaped fairy bread and fruit sticks for a little treat! Lots of fun, laughter and giggles during such a great week of celebration!

The videos are being used to promote family day care as not only the 'natural choice...' in child care for families in early childhood education and care but also to promote family day care as a career option.
