20.01.2022 Vote 1 Deol, Taqdir Singh for Aitken Ward, Hume City Council 2020

17.01.2022 Do not let others to manipulate with your democratic right by telling you through the How to Vote Cards?, who you need to put as 1,2,3...............27 on the ballot paper. 1. Try and understand the intention behind anyone asking you the above to get votes. Don't fall for people giving you their preferences or vote for someone because he or she is your friend or comes from the same background. Do your Research? 2. What real work they have done for the community in the past f...ew years, not only just by attending and posting photographs of their presence in different functions. 3. Was the candidate actually doing a service and getting paid or it was a social work to make a better community? 4. Are they law abiding citizens or they have double standards in their lives. 5. Do they think about wider community such as other ethnic groups as well or they just want your vote because they come from the same origin as yours? 6. Try to understand candidates manifesto and agenda. Is it really Council based or they just talking big which is not even a part of Councillors job description. Please do you research before casting your Vote in this coming council elections. Must Vote this Council elections and wisely choose candidates for next 4 years who can impartially make right decisions for you.

01.01.2022 How to vote card , ’ , , , , , : ... * How to vote card ? * How to vote card ? * How to vote card ? A Thought: The How to vote card, which is given to the voters by the candidates during the election, tells the Voters how to choose their preference when they cast their vote, or simply put, the way the candidate decides that who will be numbered as first, Who should be second, third, fourth etc. priority? I personally solicit suggestions from all Hume City Council voters, supporters, well-wishers, and the community as a whole: * Do you think that the How to vote card prepared by any candidate fits in the democratic framework? * Does the How to vote card allow you to prioritize eligible candidates? * Should I and all other candidates also make How to vote card? All your suggestions are very important to me and I am committed to consider them vigorously.

01.01.2022 We welcome yesterday’s Victorian State Budget announcements. We have advocated long and hard on behalf of the community so it was great to see investment in Hu...me. Two key transport priorities are now progressing which will mean a quicker and safer commute for our residents. Upgraded and new schools will see our residents have education options closer to home. Opportunities for us to submit funding applications for community facilities, sports and library infrastructure programs is also welcome news. But, there is still much more work to be done! We’ll continue to advocate for further investment in our roads and public transport. Visit hume.vic.gov.au/advocacy to see how you can support us in ensuring Hume gets its fair share of investment.
