25.01.2022 Japanese tea has many varieties, they are made of plant based cha leaves. While English tea is fermented during the production process, Japanese tea isn’t. Gyokuro, Sencha and Bancha are a group of ryokucha (green tea). Various grades of green tea are cultivated but the highest grade is gyokuro, which is picked during the first round of harvesting. Next is sencha and bancha which are at the bottom end of the green tea scale. #greentea #japanesetea #healthydrink #filtrationwatersystem #taqua #tastywater #itouenaustralia

17.01.2022 There is another good reason of consuming warm water rather than sugar-rich soft drinks. Sugar is as one might say the enemy of the people who are suffering from hay fever. A steroid hormone called cortisol in our body functions to increase blood sugar through gluconeogenesis to suppress the immune system, and to aid in the metabolism of fat, protein and carbohydrates. Cortisol helps to reduce hay fever symptoms, however consuming soft drinks increases blood sugar levels and our body uses cortisol to be able to reduce this. Which means cortisol won’t be used as much for the fight against hay fever. Sugar is sweet in your mouth but not so much beneficial to our health. #hayfever #plainhotwater #allergies #taqua #filtrationwatersystem #tastywater #cortisol #reducesugar
17.01.2022 Green tea is for the cold season It is getting colder each day and you feel the winter season is right around the corner. Protecting our health from the nasty flu is our top concern especially now that COVID-19 is spread world wide. Did you know GREEN TEA is linked to many health benefits? Catechins in green tea help to reduce the risk of cancers, diabetes, heart disease, lower cholesterol in blood, anti-aging, prevent tooth decay and bad breath etc.... It also has an antibacterial effect, so drinking green tea helps to protect against viruses, also gargling green tea eases sore throats. The most effective temperature of the tea is served over 70 C but of course, make sure the tea is hot enough to gargle. Most of all, drinking green tea makes you relax with its aroma. And the good news is green tea contains less caffeine than coffee, so it is safe to drink up to 10 cups (150ml a cup) a day. #greentea#catechin#flueseason#covid19#filtrationwatersystem#taqua#pandemic#itouenaus

14.01.2022 Why we need to drink plenty of water now more than ever It is a challenging time for all of us under current circumstances. Spending long hours at home, we have temptations to reach snacks, sweets, junk foods. Sugar consumption without exercising much at home may cause many health problems mentally and physically. ... As you know, excessive sugar consumption increases blood sugar levels and that causes the adrenaline level to rise. Adrenaline produces stimulation, especially kids who react worse than grown-ups. According to the research from Science Direct, it suggests that drinking more water may decrease the accumulation of uric acid, which is important for our bodies overall. 13.01.2022 Do you take oral medicine with water? Most of the people will say yes but some might think any fluid might help swallowing medicine. It is essential to take oral medicines such as capsules, pills and powdered medicine with water or warm water. According to Japanese Society of Drug Informatics, they recommend to have a cup of water (180-200 ml) with medicine that will help dissolve active ingredients quicker in your body. Beverages containing caffeine like tea and coffee,... milk, soft drink and fruit juice are not the best choice. Alcohol is the most dangerous option and it might cause a serious side effect. Hard water or mineral water will diminish the drug’s effects as well. #waterandmedicine #fluseason #hydration #taqua #filtrationwatersystem #tastywater #fightagainstflu
12.01.2022 Kids need to drink more water than adults. 08.01.2022 Stay hydrated during the COVID-19 pandemic Hydration is very important for our body. The fact that an adults’ body consists of 60% of water and 70% for kids. There are lots of myths about how to prevent infection with COVID-19 and drinking water is one of them. Unfortunately it will not prevent the infection as COVID-19 particles are too small to wash away by drinking water according to the World Health Organization Philippines. ... However, we could toughen up our lung by drinking water. There is a thin layer of mucus in your lungs like your saliva. It gets thicker when you are dehydrated. From here at the Taqua family to yours. Please stay home, stay safe and a Happy Easter. #stayhydrated#covid19#stayhome#taqua#filtrationwatersystem#lunghealth#pandemic
06.01.2022 Do you know how to prepare green tea? Just pouring hot water isn’t the answer! Generally soft water goes well with green tea. Water temperature and infusion time are very important to make it aromatic and delicious. Different teas for different tastes. For example, Sencha water temperature is 70 to 80 and infused for only 30 seconds (2 teaspoons for 200ml). Gyokuro should be 60 and infused for 2 minutes (3 teaspoons for 100ml). Genmaicha and Houjicha are served in 95 and ...infused for 30 seconds (Genmaicha: 2 teaspoons for 200ml. Houjicha: 4 teaspoons for 200ml). To reduce water temperature, you can pour the kettle water into either the teapot without tealeaves or a teacup. Make sure you pour until the last drop, it will avoid the bitter flavour for a second serving. #greentea #japanesetea #helppreventcold #filtrationwatersystem #taqua #tastywater #itouenaustralia
