17.01.2022 A few stud doe's at Tara enjoying the spring weather and the wonderful amount feed. There are 91 in this paddock due to start kidding tomorrow. There were 3 sires used over this group including outcross sires Micathel Phen and Micathel Eli. As you can see by the photos, the ground cover has drastically changed since joining. Fingers crossed the rain keeps up!

10.01.2022 Sample of the 2013 Drop does @ 3 months have been running on the country in the background so are still going not to bad with minimal supplements. Weaned today to give their mothers a break.

08.01.2022 A joining group of maidens and mature does at Tara foraging and performing. Quite a lot of sires represented in this group. Highveld Benthorn, Amani Lancelot, Highveld Goodhope, Tara Daytona, Mugambi Sony and Jimboer 931.

06.01.2022 2014 Sire Night Train. Hard believe he has been running on the country pictured with no hand feeding just foraging on saltbush and the dry feed available a bit of a hair cut for the photo and thats it.

06.01.2022 Here are some does at Tara performing in the paddock. We are striving to breed an animal that can perform and produce under commercial conditions. All does must bring a Kid to the yard to remain in the stud.

05.01.2022 More 2015 ET and AI kids at 1 month of age.

04.01.2022 The 2015 ET and AI kids still have over two weeks until they reach weaning at three months of age. Where they will be weighed with weights and daily growth rates recorded. We will get a few more photos of the kids from the natural joinings and a variety of different ET weaners next post.

04.01.2022 We at Tara Boer Goat stud are eagerly awaiting the kids from our 2015 embryo program to hit the ground. With the caliber of the sires and does used we are expecting great things. Below are an example of sires used.

02.01.2022 Here is a sample of the stud does from the 2016 drop. We have been rather busy at Tara of late with the country getting dry. We have only had 92 mm since December. These does have been supplemented with barley and lick to keep them coming along.
