16.01.2022 For Mollie and Brandon it really was love at first swipe back in 2014. Mollie recalls that Brandon’s profile gave the impression he was a nice, handsome, respectable man. Messaging back and forth there was definitely some banter and they seemed to have some common interests. He appeared laid back, down to earth, and had a great sense of humour. They finally got to organising a first date at the movies. Mollie saw this cute guy resting against the wall looking super chill. He ...was wearing the same white tee and dark pants as his Tinder pic, in fact pretty sure it’s the same outfit he still wears every day six years on. Mollie says standard, Brando says classic. Brandon’s first impression was that Mollie was way more beautiful in real life than in her photos - which was a first. Then it was they way she crushed him racing Daytona NASCARS. They saw some Jake Gyllenhaal thriller and Mollie thought there may have been a hand hold or an arm over the shoulder move - but she had no such luck. She then thought perhaps they would grab a bite to eat and get to know each other a little more. As they walked out she got a quick ‘see ya later,’ and a kiss on the cheek. It seemed Brando liked to keep the ladies guessing, when in fact he had already planned date number two. Mollie and Brando share the same mindset, they’re on the same wavelength about 90% of the time which certainly makes life easier. They’re down to earth, pro’s at having serious discussions, and are both extremely practical. They like working out and eating out - there you have it, balance. Brando is indoors, Mollie is outdoors. Brando is chill, Mollie is more excitable. Brando is more present and Mollie is the future planner. Brando likes things that are good value and Mollie like things that good quality. Its all about compromise. Today was about sharing who they are as an unstoppable duo and fantastic individuals with the adored guests. 15.01.2022 The tale of Jake and Taylah began when they first laid eyes upon one another at Taylah’s big sisters year 12 formal. Taylah recalls that she was wearing a purple and white dress and the most ridiculous sparkly high heels. Teens really know how to dress suitably and all that... Taylah was 16 and Jake was 18 at the time. Taylah found herself staring over at this guy and thinking wow, he is really good looking. She even asked her sister - who is that guy? Do you think he is rea...lly good looking? Because I sure as hell do. All night their eyes seemed to make their way towards one another. Those darting glances must have meant a little more to the both of them as they started instant messaging over Facebook that week, and a little while after that organised their first date. It was a gorgeous sunny day on Newcastle beach. Jake pulled up in his slick red Holden commodore ute and Taylah thought he must be pretty cool. He was nice and sweet and he made her laugh. The conversation just flowed and they soon discovered that they had a love for animals, travel, their families and relaxing by the ocean in common. Taylah says she was surprised she got a second date after feeding the seagulls all their hot chips and making them flap around them all crazy like. She was nervous. What Jake was really thinking though, was that Taylah was nice, she was funny, and she was incredibly beautiful. Jake chased Taylah for about 2 months. He knew she was worth it. He was attentive and ever so thoughtful, he bought her jewellery and took her to snazzy dinners. Taylah made the realisation that this guy must be serious, he must really like me, so you know, they became an item. That was seven years ago... Today was a double edged sword - happy and joyous to FINALLY be husband and wife, but also a touch of the sads after postponing earlier in the year still missing those who couldn’t physically be present due to COVID travel restrictions. A special loved up mention must go to Jake and Taylah’s sausage dogs - Dudley and Woody who would have been mega hyped to be by their side. 04.01.2022 Things for Pauly and Sophia began in the gym. It is said that physical fitness can benefit not only your own health and well-being, but also your romantic relationship. Couples who sweat together stay together. Soph caught a glimpse of this guy and the shortness of breath, sweaty hands and racing pulse certainly came about - was it the WOD or was it the coach with the baby blues? He certainly stood out to her with his kind and strong nature. Paul was enamoured by Sophia.... He noticed she was quiet and gracious and she had cute flushed cheeks. He wondered when she would be returning for her next session and when he was going to ask her to marry him? In reality it all started at the lookout at Copacabana. There were quiet walks and long talks and many text messages. Fast forward three months and they were living together. Three months after that they travelled to America together. Things just seemed to move effortlessly, it was natural and together they were unstoppable. Paul and Soph were to wed in New Zealand back in March and their plans, well they were massively altered. Being fiancés a little longer than they had planned they have taken Covid-19 and all its roadblocks in their stride. I am beyond stoked for you that today you finally become Mr and Mrs Knowles!

01.01.2022 Imagine an awkward 17 year old teenage lad with long emo hair and braces... enter the edgy, cool chick with dyed oranger hair, spacers and snake bites. They are co-workers at Target Country in Morrisset. The young man becomes known as somewhat of a fixture by the registers chatting away to said gal. He thought she was something special, although way to cool for him. And she thought he was quiet but super funny. She got another job and not too long after leaving register three..., she realised that she really missed the conversations with her witty coworker, infact she really missed him. In the most retro of modern ways she added him on msn and they started dating soon after. In the last 9 years Joel and Breah’s lives have become so intertwined they almost operate as one. A little bit about the two of them - Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter are on their most played movies list, punk music is on heavy rotation in their household and don’t get me started on their much adored fur babies Pablo and Luna - they be the cutest french bulldogs you ever did see. Oh and what do you think a couple that are in the sweets industry would say is hands down ze best dessert - but Sticky Date Pudding. Check out their biz @themarshmallowco Today they be wed at the rustic Woodbury Inn as their plan B. It wasn’t anything like their planned Balinese wedding that went to sheit due to Covid, but they made it happen and it was full of olivey goodness, creativity, nervous wees, fams and friends - it was all kinds of lovely and wonderful. Who would have known that their very first date, turned full day event would become a lifelong love. Their big day had fast cars, vogue worthy fashion, a dreamy romantic show stopping floral installation, a random materialising chi...cken, melodic sounds, and a raw, honest and well woven ceremony with a touching tribute to a much adored mumma watching from above.
