25.01.2022 We were greeted with a cool damp day at the Farmers Market today, thank you to everyone that ventured outside to support us and our stallholders Fingers crossed the health situation improves soon and we can try and return to some form of normal, now we will start to focus on the August market so watch this space for updates Lastly thank you to our volunteers that turn up and keep the show on the road, a lot of work goes on behind the scenes that most people don’t see, without you then the market would simply stop.

25.01.2022 Please note our next Farmers Market is on the fourth Sunday of the month, Sunday 22nd March, as there are 5 Sunday’s in March this often causes some confusion so mark up your calendars and come out and say hello

20.01.2022 We were greeted by a freezing cold day but we managed to keep the market going, unfortunately we didn’t have many stallholders due to the weather, as the highway was closed traffic was unbelievable. Still a huge thank you to the support from the public we were given today, your patronage on such a bad day is very much appreciated. Today tested our loyal group of volunteers, the bacon and egg stall was the warmest place to be, the brigade would like to thank the Tarana Valley Community Group for their help with our stall, we couldn’t have pulled it off without you We are hoping to try and return all stall holders to our September market on Sunday the 27th Watch this space for more info, fingers crossed the health situation continues to improve and we can get back to normal.

18.01.2022 Due to all that has been reported re Covid 19, and the advice that we have received, the only responsible action to take is to cancel the next market on Sunday 22nd March 2020. Will keep you up to date re the April Market See www.taranafarmersmarket.com for more info

15.01.2022 Our next farmers market is this Sunday 27th, 9am start to 1pm This market will see the reintroduction of all of our stallholders, we are trying to get back to some form of normal, of course social distancing, hand sanitizer and visitors will be asked to register once they are onsite So please consider coming along and support the Tarana RFS, grab one of our famous bacon and egg rolls which supports lots of community projects.... While you are in town call in to The Tarana Hotel and Mumma Snows Cafe and say G’Day.

13.01.2022 Just confirming no Farmers market this Sunday, unfortunately we are still locked down by the Coronavirus Please stay safe and hopefully things will improve soon. There are several of our stall holders offering online services, please support them as they do need our help. If any stall holder would like to let me know any offers you have we will be happy to promote them for you. Karen from the Tarana Hotel is also a great link to contact, she is organising food orders etc

09.01.2022 We dodged a bullet with the weather today at the market, after a couple of very ordinary days we were greeted with a cool dry day without that wind. Thank you to the public who supported us once again, a good crowd attended today and we hope you enjoyed the day and picked up some great bargains and produce. A huge thank you to all our volunteers that roll up their sleeves each month and get things rolling, a lot of work goes into this market to hopefully make it a pleasant experience for everyone

08.01.2022 Congrats to Fay Shaw who was last week added to the DPI's Hidden Treasures Honour Roll for 2020! The Honour Roll publicly acknowledges the important volunteer roles women play within NSW rural communities & Fay with her many years of volunteer work for the Tarana community (including currently being Secretary for both the Tarana Farmers Markets committee & Tarana RFS) certainly deserves it - well done!

07.01.2022 Our August Farmers Market is ON Sunday 23rd - 9am to 1pm Food and wine stalls only... Everyone welcome, throw on a coat and beanie and come along and support our stallholders, small towns really do need some help to get through 2020 Covid safe procedures will be in place, everyone will be encouraged to sign in and sanitise your hands
