25.01.2022 I realised that the question I ask myself when painting these minimalist paintings is ‘Am I Enough?’ The empty spaces are symbolic of this species’ endangerment. And they are challenging. There is a power to the emptiness - there is also a moment when enough is enough - one brushstroke too many and it’s ruined. It takes a huge amount of confidence to say ‘its done!’ And so this little guy and I sit and contemplate each other... A percentage from the sale of this painting once he is finished finished will be donated to WIRES, helping Aussie animals in need.

23.01.2022 A post of an earlier painting - I am deep in commissions at the moment and can't share just yet (and some new elephants are blossoming in the studio!) TREASURE IV - THE JOURNEY When I paint elephants, I feel a deep sense of their long journey through aeons of time. Ancient, other-worldly. Filled with wisdom - powerful and vulnerable.... Journey is part of my Treasure series - the paintings, like the animals, fading, disappearing away I loved this elephant, alot of my soul went into the journey of creating him I painted him for my solo show in London a couple of years ago. Acrylic ink on canvas 100 x 100cm He sold (to a lovely couple!)

21.01.2022 Months ago, before COVID turned our lives upside down, I was honoured to be a part of something incredibly special - 'Project Unleash'. My challenge - to create a painting that captured and expressed the essence of a child living with disabilities for Variety, the children's charity. It was an incredible, heart melting, humbling experience. I got to meet a very precious girl, Madi, who lives with numerous disabilites and has a hilarious sense of slap-stick humour, an infecti...ous giggle and a desire that the whole world hugs. Her parents are determined that she live as normal a life as possible. They are truly heroes. Variety helps them and others like them. It was a huge experience. So many emotions thinking about Madi and her family as my paints swirled, tears, joy, gratitude for my own life, awe for courage and humour, late night after late night of painting, nerves. The challenge that I create something she would like and respond to, that would capture her spirit, her giggle and bring her and others like her joy. Only slightly nerve-wracking. And I only had a week (EEK!) It was raw, powerful and humbling. A short video of the experience has been created by a very talented team, directed by Dean Friske and cast by Tina Schiano (such an incredible team and a most beautiful video - thank you guys!!!) I feel blessed and honoured that with my art I am able to help and, hopefully, to make a difference... xxx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJaRGlQKqZY&feature=emb_logo

21.01.2022 Creative flow ... sharing an owl emerging from the paints. The process of painting this one has been an echo of emerging from home ISO - a step forward, hesitation, a dash back again, a sparkle of joy and a touch of sad, allowing it all to flow...

18.01.2022 One thousand tiny decisions along the way... ‘Holding onto Hope’ - created with acrylic inks. Almost finished I think! (I began this one in January)

16.01.2022 These gorgeous creatures hanging out at Gallery_Different in London. Centre stage is a stunning owl by Adam Binder Editions. Adam is a most incredible sculptor and one of my heroes (-: I painted these guys before lockdown - how the world and the gallery has changed since then. So grateful to Gallery Different to still be supporting us artists and believing in us. It's a team effort getting work out there, and I feel very priviledged. #love

15.01.2022 Kota the puma - PRINT PRE-LAUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT This beautiful creature touched my heart from the moment I met her. Kota lived at the Zambi Wildlife Retreat and it is my honour to announce that I will be launching a series of prints of this painting to raise funds to support creatures like her. Kota was rejected by her mother and so was raised by veterinarian Dr Rob Zammit - alongside two tiger cubs, the family dogs and his children! She went on to become a film star at Movie ...World on Australia's goldcoast, where she worked with Donna Wilson, the director of Zambi. A year later, Kota and Donna moved to Sydney and the dream of the Zambi Wildlife Retreat was born. Zambi is a special place providing sanctuary, love and dignity to big cats and other creatures who otherwise would not have a home. It is one of the most special and inspiring places I have ever been. It is my pleasure to offer my art, and a piece of my soul, to help support Zambi (-: --------------------------------------------------------- 'KOTA' Acrylic on canvas 77 x 51cm $1850 AUD ORIGINAL PAINTING 25% from the sale of this painting will go direct to Zambi. PM me if you are interested. --------------------------------------------------------- LIMITED EDITION PRINT - Limited edition of 200 prints A2 - $275 AUD Free worldwide shipping Stay tuned for the launch date. I will be offering a 5% discount for the first week on print orders of Kota. Sharing the love x

15.01.2022 'I See You' - to be present - just in this moment. To see another's soul. I'm delighted that this owl of swirls that carried me out of my COVID lockdown is off to her new home #art

13.01.2022 'Release' - sharing a moment from an earlier me. A painting for letting go and embracing the future ... I was thinking about this painting this morning and how the world has changed since I painted her.

13.01.2022 Proud to say I have just started a YouTube channel Watch this space for more videos of work in flow to come (-:

10.01.2022 If you had told the 20 year old me that one day I would be a professional artist with studios in London and Sydney, I never would have believed you. This weekend I have been down memory lane, sorting out cupboards filled with old artworks. I have thought back to that younger me, so full of dreams and hopes, swirling with ideas and trepidations ... and I whisper to her ‘you are never going to believe what happens, so hold on.’ Feeling grateful and nostalgic and vulnerable and ...lighter! So for all of you along the way who have supported me, believed in me, encouraged me, told me to keep going when it's gotten scary, bought my work, shared my work, talked about my work. I am grateful beyond measure .... Sharing with you pics of my studios at the Headland in Sydney and on Johnsons Island in London #feelinggrateful

09.01.2022 Sometimes life gives you the opportunity to support something that you believe in. I am humbled and excited to be able to do this with my art... Sharing with you a second pre-print release of Masai the lion, helping raise funds to support the Zambi Wildlife Retreat outside Sydney. Masai the lion was originally destined to be a movie star - bred and raised to perform on screen. It turned out that his temperament meant he was better suited to being a father than an actor! He ...has sired many progeny around Australia, helping ensure the longevity of his species. At the grand age of 17 he needed a place to retire. Now he lives with his sister Jaya at Zambi. Zambi provides sanctuary for many creatures and is one of the most inspiring places I have ever been to. Shortly I will be pleased to offer both the original and a series of limited edition prints of 'Masai', with a percentage of sales going to help Zambi continue to help our precious animals. --------------------------------------------------------- 'MASAI' Watercolour on canvas 77 x 62cm $1850 AUD ORIGINAL PAINTING 25% from the sale of this painting will go direct to Zambi. PM me if you are interested. --------------------------------------------------------- LIMITED EDITION PRINT - Limited edition of 200 prints A2 - $275 AUD Free worldwide shipping Stay tuned for the launch date... I will be offering a 5% discount for the first week on print orders of Masai. Sharing the love x

09.01.2022 Back in the studio after an incredible time away camping under the stars, cleansing my soul, taking time to breath. I hadn’t realised quite how deeply this past year had impacted. It’s been such a huge life changing year for us all. I am so grateful for the small things that feel even more precious now, grateful that I could just drive down the road and sit under a tree. Grateful for that biggest of things - love. My love to you all x

08.01.2022 Owl in flow ... oh I love acrylic inks! I love how they dance and bleed and flow. I have to be in my absolute centre when I paint. The paintings are created lying flat which means I can not always clearly see what I am doing as I am doing it - it's a dance of chance and intuition and instinct.

05.01.2022 Cleaning out old boxes, I found a story that a wise 8 year old me wrote ... uncanny to find it tucked in an old school book. How precious those 8 year old dreams were... I vaguely remember writing it and adding the funny ‘paint everywhere’ bit at the end in case anyone broke my very earnest big dream. I am one hundred million times grateful that I took the leap to get an art studio and start painting all those years ago in London. I've been so lucky to have this opportunity ...and along the way to share the journey and be suppported by so many wonderful people... #gratitude

03.01.2022 Revealing the essence of a koala ... possibly one of the most challenging creatures I have painted! Work in progress
