11.01.2022 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN We have six all-inclusive weekend packages funded by the generous donors to the Lockdown Cabaret Fund are available for dance...rs who have been impacted by the bushfire and/or COVID-19 crisis. Who can apply? The selection process will aim to redress barriers for dancers who have been significantly impacted by the bushfire and/or COVID-19 crisis. Individuals have been impacted by recent events in a wide variety of ways, including financial, social, and emotional domains. By applying for the scholarship, we ask applicants to self-assess whether you have been significantly impacted by the bushfire and/or COVID-19 crisis. How will applicants be selected? A panel including members of the Cabaret Lockdown Committee and advisory group will review each application. Applicants will be awarded after consideration of the responses to the selection criteria. Selection will also take into diversity in location. Selection criteria Applicants are asked to provide a response to the following questions (up to half a page per criterion). 1. Where do you live? 2. Why did you apply for a Cabaret Lockdown festival scholarship? 3. How will your attendance at Cabaret Lockdown impact your current or future dance practice?
