15.01.2022 Today, 31 years later we remember the 21 people killed and 22 injured on the Pacific Highway near Grafton in a horrific crash between a bus and a semi-trailer. ... The tragedy led to changes for the trucking industry including banning drugs to stay awake, limiting driving time and mandating rest breaks. Tell us: is trucking safer today or could an incident like this happen again?

12.01.2022 Know what to do when you hear a siren or see the flashing blue or red lights of an approaching emergency vehicle? When you hear a siren or see the flashing blu...e or red lights of an approaching emergency vehicle: * Give way to the emergency vehicle if you are stopped do not move until it is safe to proceed, even if the traffic light is green. If you are moving, you must slow down and stop if necessary to avoid a collision with the emergency vehicle. * Move out of the way as soon as you can safely do so * Move over as much as you can to the left-hand side of the road or, if possible, move onto the road shoulder or breakdown lane. On multi-lane roads, try to move into the left lane to let the emergency vehicle pass * Drivers on both sides of the road should be prepared to move out of the path of emergency vehicles * Emergency vehicles with sirens sounding or lights flashing responding to urgent situations are not required to follow the rules, as long as it is safe for them to do so. Drivers should always be extra cautious when they see flashing lights or hear sirens. https://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au//approaching-emerg

11.01.2022 Whoohoo first delivery of our CAPTURING WATER project happened yesterday . Some of our hardest hit bushfire clients can now capture water and have some outdoor... solid protection .Unfortunatly caravans and pods are unable to capture water to put into the donated tanks provided This could not been achieved without the generosity and help of Ausiports Ray Davidson on the Central Coast and STRATCO . Who were able to supply a solid carport with guttering and downpipe at a very affordable price to our clients . Thankyou Ross and Ruth Tingle for allowing us to use their paddock at the last minute . We still have a limited few left if anyone fire impacted needs help to capture water etc Please ring 0400372767 See more

08.01.2022 Truck and bus access to Pennant Hills Road between the M1 and M2 will change when NorthConnex opens in the coming weeks. A new regulation will be in place and fines apply. Find out what it means for you.

06.01.2022 I wonder when we will see this in town with all the ‘professional’ car trailer owners doing tow work

06.01.2022 High beam , A driver must not use their headlights on high beam if travelling: less than 200m behind a vehicle travelling in the same direction less than 200m... from an oncoming vehicle. It is an offence to flash the vehicle's headlights unless the vehicle is being used to respond to an emergency. See more
