23.01.2022 Thanks to the increased wearing of masks this covid-year, you may have a heightened sense of your own breath. That's a good thing if its made you more vigilant about flossing and brushing. It's not so good if you've noticed an unpleasant smell. Bad breath can have many causes - it can also be a symptom of an underlying health issue, like tonsillitis, respiratory tract infections, diabetes, gastro issues or liver and kidney ailments. ... The World Health Organisation encourages us to consume no more than 6 teaspoons (24 grams) of sugar daily. WHO also recommends we choose foods with less than 10 grams of sugar per 100 grams, and to look out for hidden sugars when purchasing food and drinks. ...
