19.01.2022 Meet Our Team! This is Renee (Nae)! You will find Renee in the Wathu room Monday-Friday.... Quick Facts: Favourite Colour? Green Something you love to do on the weekends? Go caravanning with my boys! Your favourite local spot to visit? Our local river bank with a picnic on a warm summers afternoon. One fun fact about you? I am not a fan of mushrooms! Personal Philosophy: I Love giving children the freedom to explore. I believe that if children are given the opportunity to learn, explore, hypothesise, experiment and PLAY that they will grow into unique and capable beings. I love that TDP feels like home. It is a unique place that as an educator I am continually evolving, and as a mum of a child at the preschool, I see my child thriving and his individual strengths, quirks and qualities nurtured.

19.01.2022 The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go. -Dr. Seuss Thank you to all of our lovely families who contributed to our 2020 book week celebrations! We know they were a little different this year, but we still celebrated by bringing in books, reading special stories and even dressing up in some crazy costumes. We participate in book week each year along with; schools and public libraries across Australia to spend the week celebrating books, literacy, and Australian authors and illustrators.

11.01.2022 Have you seen our new interactive quality improvement plan? A Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is an evolving document that identifies our preschools' goals for quality improvement and notes some strategies for achieving those goals. It helps everyone (Educators, staff, families and the community) at our preschool to stay focused on achieving and implementing the strategies needed to complete the goals. Where do you come in? We need all of our families to take a minute to add s...ome feedback to the notes section of our QIP. We would love to hear your thoughts, feelings and ideas about the seven key areas. So if you have something to share, jot it down next time you come into preschool. Or if you are not comfortable writing on our QIP, chat with one of our friendly educators and they would gladly take your feedback verbally. Thank you!

11.01.2022 Book Week 2020! We are celebrating book week a little different this year, unfortunately because of Covid-19 we are unable to invite grown ups and families in to share in book week. But that won’t stop us from celebrating! We would like to encourage everyone to bring in their favourite story from home to read with the teachers or even share at group times! We can’t wait to see the adventures we take through literature next week! ... Ps: Don’t forget to write your name in the front of your story book so that we can ensure it gets back home with you safely!

07.01.2022 Our gardens are thriving! Since returning to preschool after the holiday break, we have been busy investigating all of the growth our gardens had while we were away. We have mulberries, passionfruit, strawberries and rosemary going crazy in our yard! We share the joy of taking care of our gardens between all of the children and staff. See if you can spy some of our friends busy at work watering all of the plants in the pictures below.
