23.01.2022 A big thank you to all of our members and guests for their support of Canteen during October. Through the sale of Bandannas together we raised over $600. Canteen is a game changer. Canteen help young people cope with cancer in their family. Through Canteen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they’ve been diagnosed themselves, they are provided specialist, youth-specific treatment teams. By feeling understood and supported, young people develop resilience and can rebuild the foundations that crumbled beneath them when cancer turned their life upside down. That’s how Canteen is the difference.

20.01.2022 2020 may not have given everyone exactly what they wanted out of a year however it did go a long way to force us all to appreciate what we have. So here at Taren Point Bowling Club we want to thank each and every one of you that has contributed towards us in 2020. To all our corporate partners. Thank you for sharing in our beliefs and the community standards we strive to uphold. ... Our suppliers and contractors. Thank you for providing us with everything we need to best serve our patrons. Our amazing staff. Thank you for providing the friendly personalised service everyone has come to expect of Taren Point Bowling Club. And lastly our amazing Members and Guests of the Club. We see you. Thank you for supporting our Club throughout this entire year. We faced some rough times but when adversity hit its hardest it was our customers who reminded us of why we continue to evolve and adapt not only as a Club but as a community. During the Covid-19 lockdown we were able to speak with and see many of our local customers through our bistro take-away orders. We provided pre-prepared meals to our overworked front line workers at The Sutherland Hospital. We delivered essential items to members in need. We phoned to check in on members and made sure they were coping. We wanted you to know we were not just your local Bowling Club, we were here to support our community through a very difficult time. Once the lockdown was lifted and customers were allowed back to the Club they returned in droves. From the initial 10 people per setting all the way until today, you have all supported us through what has seemed like never ending restrictions. We hope 2021 is a better year for everyone. Happy New Year!
