25.01.2022 We <3 our vet nurse team

24.01.2022 Its monkey see, monkey do at the clinic! . Even the bravest pups need a support (stuffed) animal . Does your pet have a favorite plushie?

23.01.2022 Not all clinics can have the best clients (but someone has to) and we are so lucky/blessed/thrilled with the gratitude we receive on a daily basis from all of you all . SBS recently did an episode on the mental health of veterinarians (https://www.sbs.com.au/ne/insight/tvepisode/veterinary-care) and we had an amazing response from our already amazing clientele. ... . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience in these past few chaotic months, as well as regularly trusting us with your important family members

23.01.2022 Pixie was pooped after her puppy vaccines , choosing to cuddle with her new stuffed donkey over listening to the puppy pack information (we hope mom and dad paid attention for her!)

23.01.2022 This cuddly pair of cats is up for adoption from some of our lovely clients. Millie and Mochi are only about 3 years old & looking for their furever home together where they can send their days snuggling with each other and their new owner Millie (the grey fluffball) is rather affectionate in the evenings, with nuzzles, nibbles and headbutts being her go to. Mochi (the orange hunk) he's a people person, loves to talk to you, and being petted. He is always up for food!... Both cats enjoy each others company, and the company of another older cat in their family. If you think this adorable duo may be a good fit your family, let us know!

22.01.2022 Our clinic is trying to be responsible about COVID-19 for that sake of our staff, community, and clientele. You may have noticed a few new signs up around the building telling you about some new protocols we have in place - 1. We will be asking you to wash your hands or use alcohol based hand sanitiser when you enter the clinic ... 2. Please try and arrive on time for your appointment and give us a call when you are in the parking lot - this will allow us to ensure you can go straight into a consult room and will reduce the number of people in our waiting rooms 3. Please call ahead to order food and medication, this way we can make sure we have stock and you are able to pay over the phone (reducing the time in the clinic) 4. We are practicing social distancing (sorry no more hugs for the time being ) Please keep an eye out for a more detailing email from the team later today as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the clinic at any time (07) 3871 3888

22.01.2022 First patient of the day at our NEW CLINIC

20.01.2022 Caring for all paws even the teeny tiniest of ones . Any guess as to what kind of possum this is?!

19.01.2022 Did you remember to check your emails? Here is our exciting new announcement!

19.01.2022 A little PSA as we are seeing lots of our clients getting new puppies and kittens right now It doesn't matter whether these new additions have been planned for months, or as a more sudden add-on in order to have a furry friend as a companion in isolation (and through life ) We need to ensure that the new 4 legged children get along with the existing 2 legged kind And since so many of us are home now more than ever, it's important that everyone gets along (even when we get a bit of cabin fever ) We've attached some handy "kid friendly" guides on 'How To' and 'How Not To' interact with your pup

19.01.2022 Whats your favorite pet pun??

18.01.2022 Spot the patient! #Rocky #perfectpatient #braveboy #taringavets

17.01.2022 The doctor will see you now

17.01.2022 Someone got a little overzealous with ordering (we'll blame the clinic cat ) so we have a few products that are due to expire before someone could use the whole pack (they are all 6 month packs that expire in 4-6 months). But our extra ordering may save you some money! They are all 25%+ off and if you have 2 pets on the same size (or like your neighbors enough to share ) We only have these 4 so get them quick before we let someone (cough *clinic cat* cough) over order again

17.01.2022 We would like to express our gratitude to everyone for the way that they have embraced our new COVID-19 protocols. If you would like to read more about the systems we have put in place to protect you and our team while continuing to provide essential care for pets please go to our website (they appear in a pop up on the home screen). https://www.taringavets.com.au/

16.01.2022 Today is World Pet Memorial Day , a day to remember, honour and celebrate the lives of pets who were kind enough to share their short lives with us, but have since crossed the rainbow bridge . May they forever live in our hearts. Please share photos or stories of pets you want to remember. We would love to hear how they touched you as they touched us

16.01.2022 To maintain appropriate social distancing while we look after your pets we have a new "Stop, Drop, & Wait" system Check out our video or infographic to see how it all works (P.S. Let us know if we should quit our day jobs to go into graphic design )

03.01.2022 Sometimes its hard for us to explain to your pet that we are here to keep them safe and that the things we do for them are to help. Luckily our medical team has someone that speaks the same language as them. Penny gave some extra love to this little one as she was preparing for surgery (and as she was recovering) The little one, Prada, felt more relaxed and had a calmer experience due to Pennys moral support Thanks for being a valuable team member and helping this one feel safe Penny

03.01.2022 Found Indian Ringneck in the Taringa/Toowong suburbs of Brisbane. It is currently residing at our veterinary hospital where a good sumaritan brought it in after it flew onto their porch and helped itself to some of their garden plants. Please contact us on 07-3871-3888 if it is yours (please be prepared to identify this lovely bird if it is yours :) )
