25.01.2022 So you are thinking about postponing your wedding to another date. This is a really valid option. Work with your vendors to find a suitable date. I strongly encourage you however, to look at days other than Saturdays if youre hoping to still get married sooner rather than later, as more businesses will have more non-weekend availability. This isnt always a viable option for couples, but it is often a cheaper option as a lot of vendors offer mid-week specials. Good luck everyone, chin up, we will get through this. xx
25.01.2022 Let's not panic everyone, this virus situation isn't forever, but your marriage is. If you feel you need to postpone, here are some really helpful hints to help you manage it and get through this as best we can.
25.01.2022 Prior to the COVID 19 craziness taking over everyone's life, I had the pleasure of being the Celebrant at the wedding of these two special people. Craig and Nay, we all need somebody to love, care about and trust. I’m really happy that you have both found this special person. Congratulations on your wedding and may your life together be a continuous honeymoon.
25.01.2022 Just absolutely loved these photos sent to me from the very talented Nadinne Grace Photography, and felt I should share them to allow everyone to see how clever this girl really is. She captured the wedding, the raw emotions and the celebrations in such a professional manner, who wouldnt be in love with these. Very artistic lady.
24.01.2022 Another first time location last Saturday. Local also! Got to admit though, it is a pretty stunning location and has the capacity to hold a large wedding group or a small intimate wedding. Highly recommend a look if you are thinking about a venue in the Clare Valley.
24.01.2022 Well thats a wrap for me for 2019! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my couples, past present and future for their ongoing support and recommendations. If you were lucky enough to be married in 2019 and this is your first Christmas as a married couple, I hope it is memorable and full of happy times with family, friends and each other. To all, may the Christmas season fill your home with joy, your heart with love and your life with laughter. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and I look forward to meeting my new couples in 2020.
23.01.2022 It was not ideal conditions as Sidney and Brayden said their I dos, and who could believe, so close out of winter, how much dust was circulating in the gusty conditions. Testament to how much more rain we could have done with this season but it all just added to the fun and excitement of the day. To look out onto a sea of smiles and happy faces, during the ceremony, makes all those gritty eyes and windblown hair dos so worthwhile. Congratulations to 2 very special people. May the love and happiness you feel today shine through the years.
22.01.2022 The Festive Season is still proving to be the most popular time of the year for men and women to pop the big question - even out voting Valentines Day. Congratulations if you were one of the many lucky couples to say yes over the past few weeks, now the planning begins. 2020 is proving to be a very popular year for weddings with many dates already booked out. To avoid the often inevitable stress that comes with planning your big day, my advice would be to book everything in as soon as possible. If you are looking for a Celebrant, I would love to arrange a time to have a chat over a coffee or even a sneaky wine, to see if I am the right person to solemnise your marriage. Look forward to hearing from you and good luck with your plans.
22.01.2022 I really enjoyed my trip down South to officiate at Sarah and Jamies wedding. Perfect weather, stunning location and great loving and supportive group of family and friends helped to shape the tone of the day. Add a beautiful bride and handsome groom, what more can I say?? :) Simply amazing.
18.01.2022 It saddens me more and more when I hear of all of the disappointments that couples are experiencing in this difficult time with their wedding arrangements. Now, as if the current restrictions of 5 people per ceremony doesnt make it difficult enough, the Registry Office in Adelaide is closed until 1st June. As a Celebrant, I am more than happy to offer a beautiful, intimate, small ceremony for anyone who just wants to get married with myself and your two witnesses and we can always follow it up down the track when this madness is over with a perfect Renewal of Vows, where you can have all of your loved ones present. Call me if this is something you are interested in and happy to chat about packaging the two ceremonies together for a good price.

15.01.2022 So, the see-saw continues with gatherings at private residences. But its good news at the moment, numbers are on the way back up again. 50 people again if you are holding your wedding at home. Fingers crossed we can continue this way.

15.01.2022 A few weeks ago, just before this virus changed the rules, Kenneth and Jessica became husband and wife, in a simple, heartfelt ceremony with their family and friends to support and celebrate with them. And it is so very easy when I have clients like these, to marry a couple who are so down to earth and in love with each other was an absolute dream. Wishing you both all the best for this amazing journey you are about to start.
15.01.2022 Perfect way for the ex scholars to arrive.
14.01.2022 What a fun time we had on Saturday as Jade and Ilario said their I dos at Koonowla Wines. So many tears of joy and tears of laughter, along with so many aaahhhh moments. The weather was perfect, the crowd was amazing and so supportive of the bride and groom and the bridal party looked stunning, not forgetting the amazing location. Seeing these two people make promises and step forward into the future is so inspiring and wonderful. Congratulations Jade and Ilario!
13.01.2022 A bit of a giggle to brighten your Friday.

12.01.2022 Well as if sudden COVID lockdown restrictions weren't enough, limited numbers at home, all weddings temporarily cancelled until midnight Saturday, this beautiful couple pushed through with their wedding on Sunday, set on becoming husband and wife. On the day, they endured heat, thunder, lightning and rain, but pulled through it all with a smile on their face. True testament to the strength of their relationship and their love for each other, along with the absolute determination to be a married couple by the end of the weekend. Well done Nathan and Brooke, it was an absolute pleasure being part of your special day, I wish you both much happiness and love.
12.01.2022 Great news South Australia! No restrictions on wedding guests as from 29th June! Lets not become complacent though - we must still consider social distancing. Good step forward though. Getting exciting again,
11.01.2022 In windy and cool conditions, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Peter and Kayla declared their love and devotion towards each other as they became husband and wife. It was so beautiful to see the children being involved and they both looked as proud as punch as they watched mum and dad being married. What a thrill it was to be a part of it all. I wish you both best wishes on this wonderful journey, as you build your new lives together.
10.01.2022 Great news South Australia! No restrictions on wedding guests as from 29th June! Let's not become complacent though - we must still consider social distancing. Good step forward though. Getting exciting again,
09.01.2022 What a great venue for a wedding ceremony. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, birds singing and the scent of fresh pine in the air. Couple that up with perfect weather and a perfect couple, so clearly in love and you have the recipe for a beautiful ceremony. Congratulations Jason and Kristen, on your very special day! May your married life be filled with special memories you can treasure forever!
09.01.2022 Awwwww Sidney, when I saw you walking down the aisle yesterday with your dad on your arm, I flashed back to my RDHS Canteen days, with this cute Yr 10 girl, helping me out, singing along to the Footrot Flats song. What a beautiful woman you have grown in to. I was so proud to marry another one of my girls. It really is heart warming. Hope you have a beautiful life with your handsome husband. Cant wait to hear what happens at the next Rodeo,
06.01.2022 Im often asked Why do people renew their vows? To put it simply, a vow renewal is a way to celebrate the success of your marriage. Perhaps its a milestone anniversary - 10, 25 or 50 years together and you want everyone to know youd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Maybe you wish to reaffirm your commitment to each other after a difficult period in your relationship. Theres no wrong reason to renew. For Tyler and Jade, it was basically an opportunity to celebrate their marriage in the style and tradition they had originally hoped for. It was a lovely day at Bungaree Station and no doubt the celebrations continued well into the evening. Wishing you both continued happiness and much love for your future together.
05.01.2022 A simple sand ceremony can be such a perfect way to involve children and unite a family. A beautiful keepsake forever, as you can see from Brett and Timika and their beautiful family, the children really enjoyed being involved and made them feel special.
05.01.2022 Happy Valentines day everyone! Dont forget girls, its a Leap Year, the opportunity you only get once every four years to propose to your man. Give him a nice surprise, and take the pressure off him to do it, ( or hurry him up a little, )
05.01.2022 Well the wedding season for 2020/21 has tiptoed off very slowly, (thank you COVID 19). Although restrictions in SA are finally lifting, albeit slowly, it is good to see couples are gaining the confidence to arrange their big day again. Amidst, cancellations, postponements and downsizing we still managed to share in a couple of private, intimate elopement style weddings for some lucky couples, but 2021 is looking so much brighter. Yay! In SA we are so lucky to have such an amazing choice of beautiful venues, some big enough to hold not only the ceremony, but also the reception. Here are a few of my favourite places.
05.01.2022 What a fun ceremony we had, as Brett and Timika became husband and wife with a great group of their nearest and dearest there to support and celebrate with them. Love, love, loved the children. They all looked so special and took on their responsible role extremely well and looked really important as they stood at the front while mum and dad were married. Sending my warmest congratulations and love to you all!
05.01.2022 Just a bit of fun on a Wednesday morning, let's hope it doesn't get to this though,
05.01.2022 Some more of the brilliant talent from Nadinne Grace Photography, with great information featuring all of the vendors in her first blog for the season .
04.01.2022 Another first time venue for me last week and what a stunning choice. Woodstock Wine Estate at McLaren Flat. So many picture perfect opportunites for the best wedding photos. Inside the venue, set up for the reception looked stunning also.
04.01.2022 Wedding ceremonies don't get much better than this. :) When you have a couple, who clearly love each other so much and show that love and affection in every move, every smile and every glance at each other, the warmth and glow of their love resonates through everyone around them. That was the way I felt last weekend when Corey and Sheree became husband and wife. Such a pleasure to be their Celebrant and be a part of their big day. Congratulations on this very special occasion and may you always have peace and love in your hearts for the rest of your lives. Thank you to Renae Sauer for the amazing work as their photographer and allowing me to use some of her great results.
03.01.2022 Just a bit of fun on a Wednesday morning, lets hope it doesnt get to this though,
01.01.2022 One of my beautiful brides from a few months ago is featured as a November entrant in the True Bride 2019 Bride of the Year competition. I think she deserves the title, if you agree, you can vote for her on the link below. TIA
