24.01.2022 So proud of the commitment our town and district have had to a post last week asking for people to share their knowledge on the subjects they're skilled in. In ...just those few days, we have already set the foundations for nearly a dozen workshops or classes in a variety of subjects. Covid allowing, we will soon be able to advertise to all of you when these workshops will start. The Tarnagulla Community Centre will be the venue for most. Some planned for a future date will need outside undercover areas but we are working on this very hard to find that place. To you, those that can offer their skills to share but have not been able to yet, please give me a call or message me and we will get your plan working for us all. This is an exciting time for our town and all the little towns a stones throw away that share our pride. I knew we could do it !! We're an amazing place with amazing people :) :) Harold 0412845715

Alpha will be running at the Tarnagulla Community Centre from Aug 16th at 3:30pm. There is no cost and a delicious afternoon tea will be provided. 09.01.2022 Hi everyone, Our small community of Tarnagulla and surrounds has been rocked with the devastating news of the passing of our good friend Tony Perri in a car accident on Monday morning. Tony would be one of the most gentle and kind men I have ever met and his passing will leave a large hole in our lives. ... Tony worked at the local school and with Justine, his loving partner, in our local cafe. Justine and their son Ryan, would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude for the kind words and offers of support they have received. The Tarnagulla Country Cafe at the Community Centre will be closed over the next two weeks to allow the family privacy in their grief. News of Tony’s memorial service will be released next week. 05.01.2022 COLLECTABLES SHOW AND TELL ! SATURDAY August 15th 11 am to 2 pm. Tarnagulla Community Centre.... $2 entry to cover hall costs. Hosted by Jenny Scott. Many of us have old bits and pieces around the house that have personal historical significance or just bits we've found and know nothing about. Sometimes identification is difficult and dating can be even harder.......... Come and share your collectable items with Jenny and she can give you over forty years of experience to help you know your piece from your family history. ...or picked up from a flea market. If the piece is something you intended to sell, Jenny can advise you of the best way to move it onto a suitable site. Jenny is volunteering her time at the community centre to share some of her years of experience with you. Jenny also has many many reference books to do research on your item should she not be able to give you an answer on the spot. The Cafe at the centre have a great cuppa, and mouth watering goodies for when you sit and chat to Jenny. COLLECTABLES SHOW AND TELL ! Check the times above It will be a fun learning experience !!!!
