23.01.2022 Thinking of Breeding a mare with us this year? We are hoping for some follow up rain and warmer days before starting to make sure we get the best results for everyone. A few things to think about in the current COVID climate.... * There may be less interstate flights and freight options as a result of COVID - this might make some fresh semen logistics harder. *Consider using frozen semen as a way to get around this. * Is there frozen semen available for your preferred horse? and can this be shipped to us before your mare arrives? * We have good success with frozen semen- as we are not at the mercy of couriers and can breed 7 days a week with good quality semen. * Start feeding your mare now to ensure she is in optimal condition for breeding

22.01.2022 BULL CHECK: This is a picture of a 2.5 year old bull with a persistent frenulum, these can be quite common and affected bulls are unable to fully protrude their penis from the sheath and in most cases are unable to achieve intromission. Without testing your bulls this abnormality could go unnoticed for a number of years. Persistent frenulums can be easily corrected crush side with minor surgery.
