25.01.2022 Dear Customers, COVID.... Times are really tough and at times like this, we have to make some changes. I have decided to go back to basics. What do customers want? What do I want to do? What is the sort of ramen shop I want to go as a customer? ... Keyword is honest tasty homemade ramen. Doing what we do well, constantly improving on it and continuing to deliver Australia's best ramen to Brisbane at accessible prices. Hopefully you will notice some changes for the better as we try to better our basics. I have improved the recipe for egg, tonkotsu soup and home fermented kimchi for starters, and am on to a review of all items across the board. Please see whether you can tell the subtle difference! On the other hand, we must be able to sustain our business with our challenges. It means managing with less margins and less shift hours. So some things I have decided to compromise. Reducing customization options on iPad (if you have a specific customization request, please ask staff directly, we are still happy to oblige!), discontinuation of Miso Ramen (pls don't scream, it will make a come back sometime!), no more stamps on menulog/homepacks, etc. Apologies, thank you for your continuous support. 22.01.2022 Super generous staff C's husband went fishing and they gave me a fresh whole coral trout!! Look at this beauty! I have to say, it is one of my favorite reef fish. And I think it's one of QLD's tastiest produce. In my opinion, bottom reef fish generally have really great tasting white flesh but coral trout is the champion with such an elegant taste with gentle fat and firm texture.
