12.01.2022 First time winning a garden photo competition. The prize is to have this photo of autumn garden as the FB group cover photo for the next 3 months. It was voted most liked by its group members. Just over 5 years in this lovely garden group and thoroughly enjoy their sharing of knowledge and experiences, seeing garden photos and habitual or uncontrolled spending on plants, and occassionally meeting members at garden events, but mostly Bunnings garden centres.

03.01.2022 As a number of enhancement projects started prior to Covid-19 are delayed, causing accessing materials (along with not allowing group gatherings), we will not be opening our gardens in October for its annual rhododendron and spring flowering display. Despite opening 13 years, 700 visitors and growing followers.

02.01.2022 This is our 7-day, 6-station irrigation controller purchased a couple of years ago, and is now mounted in the shed. Next is to run 24v control power wires to the primary and secondary water control valves and connect to a water source, and add water pipelines and sprayers. It is able to start a water pump and be controlled by a weather sensor.... It also has backup battery and non-volatile electronic memory if the power fails to hold the programs up to a month.

01.01.2022 Our open garden weekend in October is currently being promoted on screen at the Regent Theatre in Yarram. Thanks to InTarra for the community support.
