21.01.2022 Observational painting The children found a Golden Orb spider in our environment. We decided to research the spider using our interactive smart TV , we then took a photo of the spider to have a closer look. Observational drawing and painting is a meaningful and authentic early childhood art experience. Through observational drawing , children develop skills. Looking closely to find out more about what they see . Communicate what they see and think . Make decisions about what to emphasise and include in the drawing . And most importantly become confident at trying something new.

21.01.2022 Very exciting day today , we had the ABC News reporter come and film at Tarragindi Kindy. To film our Organic Pizza shop . This term we have been learning about money and setting up Authentic learning experiences for the children to help them make meaning of their world . We have been playing with money and giving change . Also important discussions around- what are needs and wants And all the ways we can save money by recycling and spending time in Nature. The Children were all absolute stars. Details are to come when it will be played on National TV - exciting Big Thank you - to all our amazing staff who made the Organic Pizza shop so beautiful and authentic. We even had Italian music playing , menus , play dough for pizza and natural toppings
