25.01.2022 Thinking of you my gorgeous friends, clients & colleagues and wishing you Happy Easter. Staying home is but a small act in light of the ultimate sacrifice told in the Easter Story - and our present situation. This Easter, I wanted to share a piece of me that a few of you may be new to: my faith and role as a Pastor. sometime ago I said the following at one of our Sunday services. It’s now available on my website. Perhaps this weekend it may inspire you.... Giving Your Faith Away Bonus Sermon by Pastor Tarran Deane Click here to access Tarran’s sermon and notes >>> http://bit.ly/TarranDeaneEasterGift May a piece from this message resonate with you today. #happyeaster #faithinaction #christianity @tarrandeane @ganggalah @psa_professionalspeakersaust

24.01.2022 It’s a beautiful season in our family. We’ve had the joy of spending time with our grandkids and this one, well he just loves everything about his Granddad and finds ways to be just like him. Meet Cooper John, emergency services fan and motorcycle enthusiast. He’s ready for anything. #blendedfamily #emergencyservices #ducati #grandkids

22.01.2022 A little rest, a little perspective shift, a little more gratitude- it changes everything.

22.01.2022 Little cutie! We were sitting outside by the fire a week ago when this young possum swung down for a closer look. He was so brave and paid no attention to Leonard the Jack Russell. Tonight as I took Lenny outside before bed for his evening security round there was a rapid rustle of leaves and palm fronds and I suspected our little friend had returned. Ladies and gentlemen, our Possum friend has returned!... Should we have a go at naming this little fella (or girl)? What names would you like us to consider? #possumindahood #possum #backyardvisitor #mygoldcoast #burleighheads

22.01.2022 Coming across a great range of resources I’m recommending to my clients and colleagues. One of my current favs is the McKinsey app and this particular article on communicating during the various stages of a crisis. 20.01.2022 This guy made it to the Australian Speedway Championship Finals in Adelaide when I was a kid. My Mum had hair like Farrah Fawcett from Charlie’s Angels and she looked cool, calm and collected as she watched my Dad. In between his races my sister let me do her hair while she sat in the boot of Mum’s orange sporty Datsun 120Y. We’d then go and buy Chiko rolls and tiny 200ml of either Coca Cola or Pasito. Oh heady days indeed! ... #Flashback #PhilWatersRacing #Turbocharged #toranaxu1

19.01.2022 Working from home is a good place to be. Every now and then we need a sanity check. Creating the habit to break from the desk and the phone to still the mind and recalibrate is vital for perspective. Home offers that and it took a visit from my sister who snapped this photo to remind me to pause and appreciate. ... I am so grateful for family. When I work with clients through our company we encourage the principles of work, rest and play. Back in the 80s this was the Mars bar jingle. It’s one chocolate metaphor I’m happy to use!

17.01.2022 Getting ready for the Kingaroy Speedway Qld Championship Races. This is me before I get covered in spray from the track lol! Last time I was at these kind of races it was Uralla Speedway NSW circa 1976 and Dad was racing.

17.01.2022 Butterscotch pudding in a cup, vanilla bean coconut icecream topped with a violet crumble square. Officially full and grateful. #Fridaynight #Familynight

15.01.2022 Who AM I? When you see something in the Aldi special buys catologue and you don’t want to miss out! Beat the queue! #Winning My sister is helping me grab the bargains. Divide and conquer! ... The line is huge! So glad I got here 45mins before opening.

13.01.2022 That’s better. And oh so happy with the attentiveness of the team at Oscar Oscar Burleigh. Shout out to @britney_oscaroscarburleigh and @traceyhughesedu for the introduction @ Burleigh Heads, Queensland

12.01.2022 Oh this is a very good day. 1st ride on the Monster for almost 4 mths since a broken toe and COVID Catching up with friends on the ride... Visiting Geoff Hale Osteopath at Palm Beach for a treatment to fix that back and neck and I’m almost ready for a week off. Just one more stop - Oscar Oscar I’m coming for you! #selfcare #osteopathy #DrGeoffHale #mygoldcoast #goldcoast

10.01.2022 While I do skype calls the sunsets and the little people have popped in for a visit with Grandad and Tari. These grandsons of ours are such a delight and their Mum and Dad are doing a brilliant job with their little men. Our daughter sent this picture through of them in our garden, mesmerised by sunset and in a rare moment of stillness. #myheart #blended #workingfromhome #changemanagement #engagingchange #leadership

09.01.2022 With generations of military in our family, of both blood and the ties that bind, we can only know in part where your service has taken you, the secrets you have carried and the shadows that have haunted you. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve that we might honour your character, courage and conviction on this day and beyond. #lestweforget #anzacday ... #fightthegoodfightoffaith #faithhopelove See more

03.01.2022 All kinds of beautiful sights, homely jobs and time with family this weekend. We loved it. Ellie @e.effected and I laughing as we ventured to the shops with the easing of restrictions and laughing that we were way out of condition and loved hanging out together.... Dave and I walked for kilometres through the national park. I went for a 2 hr drive by myself exploring neighbourhoods and walking along streets looking for inspiration in gardens full of coastal plants and home with charming facades. Our builder friends Eddie and @wisemancaroline repaired our retaining wall and saw Dave and I do the first coat of paint over the new finish. Almost like new again. I’m feeling more than a little Hampton-esque and keen to install a faux window like this one and ready to paint all our outdoor furniture white And importantly throughout the weekend speaking to our Church Leadership Team and celebrating the volunteer shifts to online services and talking all things God and people. Rounding it out with seeing our grand daughters, and spending time with Dave’s brother in laws and sisters @sueguy4221 and @linjlehmann . Blessed. That will do just nicely thanks. #labourdaylongweekend #mayday2020 #covid19 #thisislife #mygoldcoast #hamptonsstyle @tarrandeane

03.01.2022 Pre-CoVID-19 flashback designing and delivering Change Champions Framework and Masterclasses for local government to help build internal change capability. Today was meant to be session 3 /3 of the face to delivery. A shift to virtual will be exciting for this group in the weeks ahead. Looking forward to continuing to cheer these dedicated human beings on throughout 2020. #championsofchange #engagingchange #groupcoaching #localgovernment #changemasterclasses

03.01.2022 Spending time with family and having tech free time is good for the soul and great for relationships. Exploring the scenic rim, it rivers and its ranges was a delightful way to savour the weekend! #borderzone #covid19 #winter @tarrandeane
